That's right, fine ass Kinsé. "Dammit." I grab that napkin from the table so quickly I almost get a damn paper cut while choking on these ribs. She didn't notice me, but I noticed her. She swayed her wig as she walked inside, throwing a smile here and there before engulfing Queen into a hug. They speak for a moment before she nods and takes a seat at the stool at the front while Queen disappears out back. Her eyes move around the room subtly before they land on me. I'm pretty sure my eyes widened and so did hers. A slow smile covered her face before she hopped off the chair and walked towards me. "Don," she hums sliding into the chair opposite of me and I smirk, leaning back. "Are you like . . . stalking me?" "Maybe," I tease, "what're you gonna do about it?" "I don't know but," she leans back also, mimicking me, "I'll figure it out." I chuckle as she folds her arm. "Don't flatter yourself kukoo, I ain't following you." "How are you?" I ask her and she averts her eyes to the table quite quickly. "I'm good, you?" "Im alright," I nod. "Lunch time?" "No, I didnt have much clients today . . . " she drawls, "I'm just grabbing some lunch to head home." "Oh." Queen appears near our table, placing the container in front of Kinsé. I look up to find her smirking and I try to give her a warning. "Kinsé? I didnt know you knew my boy Donatello!" Great. I slowly close my eyes, with Kinsé's shocked face the last thing that I see. "Oh yea. . .," she says, and I can practically hear the smugness, "I met him a while back." "Hes a great boy you know, wouldn't mind if you two. . . " She chuckles and I reopen my eyes. She had her cute smile on again, as she stared up and Queen. She shook her head, her hair swaying with her movements and i could honestly just stare at this girl all damn day. "I don't date Ms. Queen, you know that." Wait, what? "Oh Kinsé," Queen rolls her eyes, "you never changed huh?" "Never," she grins, popping a fry into her mouth and Queen leaves to attend to another customer. "So no dating huh? Why not?" She shrugs, "why?" "Why not?" "I don't like men," she says and I raise an eyebrow. "Huh? So you like women?" "Boy," she gives me a look and I resist the urge to laugh. "I like what I like though." "Oh? So tell me Kinsé what do you like?" "I like food, and uh . . . I like sleep." I give her a dead look and she covers her mouth, giggling a bit. "Okay Donatello, I'm gonna head on home, I'll see you around?" "Fo sho shawty, if you like though, I can give you a ride home?" "Nah, I got things to do before I get home but thanks." She gives me one last smile before disappearing and suddenly I wasn't hungry anymore. I wanted nothing more but to join her, whatever she had to do, I wanted to do it with her. I'm not sure what the hell this was, but I liked it. # It was already 9 by the time everyone was out, and finally it was time to lock up. My mind stayed on Kinsé even now as I drove home. My phone pinged and I grabbed it, slowly down a bit. Quan: Wassup D? Party at Flossie's house. Come thru. Cause why not? I head home and quickly take a shower before pulling on some calvin Klein semi fitted Jean's, with a white plain tee and my Cuban links. I use my wave brush and some gel setting my hair before I slid on some Gucci sneakers. Bands, check, phone, check, I was ready. "Surprise, surprise," right before entering my vehicle, I turn to find Kinsé standing before me. "Oh, you're going out?" "You were coming over?" "Nah, I was running." I take in her attire and indeed she was a sweaty mess. The sexiest sweaty mess. She had leggings and a sports bra on with some sneakers. "Girl, you really running round here like that?" "What's wrong with me?" She folds her arms, and I blink. "You're naked." "I'm not naked." She rolls her eyes and I scoff. "Its late, you shouldn't be out here like this yo." She softens a bit at the tone of my voice, realizing that I was dead serious. She doesn't know what to day obviously, so I sigh, and rub my face. "I'm going off to a party, wanna come?" "Nah, you're seeing me right? I'm a mess." "Weve got time if you wanna get ready." She ponders it. "I dont really like parties." "Me neither, but its Friday night? What else we got to do?" She thinks about it for another moment before nodding. "Okay, I'll come with. You wanna wait here? Or?" "I'll come with." I repeat her words and she smiles. "Let's go then." # Kinsé's house was nothing like I expected. I knew she wasnt a girly girl, but why the hell was there pictures of Tupac almost everywhere. It was really neat and clean, and smelled like air freshener. It was a bit small, but I liked it. I sat on the small ass couch, watching TV while she got ready. I knew girls took forever, but hopefully she would surprise me and take maybe about 5 minutes, sike. About 30 minutes later I hear heels clicking and I immediately turn around and there she was. Her hair to her ass, her face barely beat but her eyelashes were fluttering a lot more than whatever it was that was in my stomach right now. She had a cute little black dress that went to her knees, and some glass looking heels. "You like?" She asks, spinning around and the back of the dress wasnt even there. My mouth felt dry as she posed, and gave me a grin. What the actual f**k.
