Chapter Eleven
“I’m so sorry, ladies, but we haven’t been able to find Martin yet,” Officer Delco tells Jenny and me. It’s been three days since Robbs attacked Jenny; it seems that he’s vanished off of the face of the earth.
“No flight records or anything?” I ask with frustration.
“Nothing,” he sighs. “We’ve put out an A.P.B; every security checkpoint at every airport in New York has his picture. If he tries to leave the state by plane, we’ll get him. From what we’ve been able to gather, he hasn’t shown back up in Austin. We have officers there looking for him as well. We’ve put a trace on his credit cards and cell phone, but there hasn’t been any activity on anything.”
