CHAPTER 31 “So you really think she needs to stay here tonight?” Susannah asked the doctor in a quiet voice. Megan stood back, feeling out of place while the conversation unfolded. Janice nodded. “I’m so sorry. I hate to get you worried like this, but until we find something to help her clear out her lungs, I’m really not comfortable sending her home.” “What about oxygen?” Scott questioned. “Last month we were able to get those two canisters of oxygen to keep on her at home, and I think that really helped. Could we do something like that again?” Janice shook her head. “I wouldn’t recommend it. Until we find some antibiotics she’s not resistant to, I really think she’s going to need more supervision.
