CHAPTER 33
Megan had almost forgotten how nice it was to pray for somebody in English. She was fluent in Spanish and never thought twice about using it, but being back in the States reminded her how much mental energy it takes to converse day in and day out in a second language.
Their prayer time with Kitty was powerful and touching. Susannah started to cry toward the end, and Megan had stepped out so she and Scott could be alone with Kitty for a few minutes. Maybe it hadn’t been the best time for her to fly out to Washington after all. Then again, if there was anything she could do to make things easier for Scott and Susannah while she was here, it was worth it.
