Briar's POV.
"Are you done checking me out dork?" He said as he stared at me.
Tormenting me with his blue ocean-like eyes.
At that moment I felt so small, so little in his towering six foot height.
Of all people to bump into, why him?
Luke Grant, known as the school's womanizer.
I adjusted my glasses, clearing my throat to form a word.
"I-i wasn't checking you out, Luke." I choked out those words as I try to control my fidgeting hands.
I tried to look away from his piercing gaze.
"Freak. I wonder why you're friends with Brittany and Trish, they're quite popular while you-- " He pointed at me looking disgusted spitting every words with venom that pierced through my chest.
"Leave me alone Luke." I whispered barely audible cutting him from his sentence.
But he continued anyway.
"While you, you're the ugly- fat- and-- err-- weird friend." He said pausing with each word giving them emphasises, of course with his devilish smirk.
What a jerk.
"I don't care." I said even though I know it was true, Brittany is that beautiful tall skinny blond, and Trish is as gorgeous as Brittany.
While me.
Well, I'm like the ugly duckling.
I pushed past him and walked as fast as I possibly can.
I heard him say something before turning around.
"Face it, you're the ugly duckling." He said chuckling,
I held onto my backpack tightly ignoring awful stares.
But eventually they carried on with their own businesses.
I adjusted my glasses letting out an exaggerated sigh.
Well, I'm Briar Rose and yes, I'm the ugly fat friend.
