The Alpha's Assassin Bride

        It was 6 am in the morning yet I was already dressed in a blue tuxedo and black shoes to match. I walked out of my hotel room, heading out to the parking lodge where Robert parked the car.

        Robert had already hired a chauffeur driver that would take us anywhere we would be going all through our stay in Japan.

         I wonder why I was dressed up so early when the meeting was to hold by 7:30 am, I hate being awake early in the morning when everyone was still fast asleep, I love being on my bed till 10 am before beginning my daily activities.

         This is another reason why I hate the alpha summit, even more, getting dressed way early to sit at a meeting with some alphas who want nothing that your submission to them, and that irks me a lot.

          As I approached the car, Robert grinned ear to ear as soon as he saw me

                   “Always looking smart and good, I love the aura you are emitting and you look good,” Robert said while opening the door for me.

                  “Thank you, I am starved. What's for breakfast?” I asked him while sitting in the back seat of the car.

                  “I googled a nice place where we can get something to eat, I made sure it was edible for you to eat because I know you select your food,” he said adjusting himself beside me.

         I turned to stare at him because I knew what he meant when he said edible, I knew he has gone to pick a place where the food won’t be much and we can eat it on time and then go to the alpha summit to please the so-called king of alphas. I wonder what he enjoys in going to the summit to watch as they talk down on me makes me wonder if he loves the idea of seeing me being dragged and he always had this grin on his face every time the arguments got heated.

                “I am not going to that meeting the said time they wrote down, I am going to grace my food and admire the beauty of Japan's delicacy and the beauty of their food. If you hurry me then I am kicking your ass back to where you are coming and obviously not my pack, so you better change the location you picked out for me,” I told him and he let out a hearty laugh.

                “I wonder how you always see through me?” Robert asked me

                “We have been friends for years so everything about is like an easy book to predict,” I say smiling at him with a weird smile on my face.

                “Yeah you are really one of a kind, I am honored to be your most trusted friend. So for that your wish is my command dear friend but what will you do when you walk in late and all eyes are on you?” asked Robert turning his head to look at me as if he could find the answers he needs on my face.

                “Walk majestically to our seats, you know how I love grand entry,” I told him with a wild grin on my face.

                “I was born for the starlight” I added and tapped his shoulder.

       We arrived at the location where Robert arranged for us to have our breakfast, I was really starving and I needed some good food and this building looked like a nice restaurant with the interior almost packed with customers even though it was so early in the morning. The building was classic and walking inside it was amazing, different from the outside.

        When you look at the building from the outside, it looks like a modern restaurant but entering inside it was a traditional setting and I loved the simple decorations that made it feel warm and cozy. If I ever come visiting again I will love to come to this restaurant to eat and then watch the nice view of the river glistening with the reflection of the city lights from far ahead through the roof to floor windows on one side.

                “Good morning sirs, table for two?” asked maître'd

                “Yeah for two,” Robert said trying to flirt with the maître’d but I quickly kicked him in his calf before mind linking him.

                 ‘Don’t you dare flirt with her’ I told him and he smiled before nodding his head.

                 “Do you have a reservation or you are just coming?” she asked us

                 “A reservation under Alexander Willows,” Robert said giving her their details. Then she searched through her reservation list and then she smiled at us.

                 “Right this way sirs,” she said taking the lead and we followed her upstairs until we got to a seat close to the window, with the perfect view of the ocean and fishermen reeling in their boats after a long night on the water. I felt relaxed just watching them.

         This is awesome

                  “A waitress will come attend to you and take your orders. Thanks for coming to Kitcho” she smiled, giving us the menu list for us to order and then bowing her head before taking her to leave.

                   “Hope you like the view?” asked Robert looking absolutely pleased with himself.

                    “It's perfect and I love nature. Next time book a hotel close to the beach okay,” I told him

                     “Yes sir, at least a thank you for this wonderful restaurant and the view won’t hurt,” he said, I was about to respond to him when a waitress interrupted us.

                      “Good morning sirs, may I take your orders?” she asked with a smile on her face.

                       ” I will like some sushi, udon mixed tofu, and a yakitori with donburi,” I said giving her my orders as she scribbled them down on a book.

                       "And you sir?” she asked Robert.

                       “I will try natto and then I want oden, tamagoyaki, and miso soup,” Robert said.

                        “Any drinks to go with the food?” she asked.

                        “A bottle of water and champagne,” I told her and she sent to get our orders ready.

                        “Please wait for ten to fifteen minutes please while we go prepare your orders,” she said before walking away.

           After few minutes she was back with our orders and settled them down on the table. As soon as she left, we dived into the food and every bite was like heaven.

                        “I need to buy a Japanese cook that will help prepare some of these foods for me at the packhouse, what do you think?” I asked him to pick sushi up with my chopsticks.

                         “That would be nice, remind me to keep coming to visit you, my good friend”

                          “You will be banned from coming into my home,” I told him

                           “I know you are kidding,” he said

                           “Don't be too sure,” I told him and we both laughed.

            When we were done with the meals, a bill was handed to us and I paid the money before heading out and relaxed in the slow drive to the alpha summit.

             By the time we arrived at the summit it was 9:30 am and I smiled.

Just perfect.

             Adjusting my suit, I walked in, making sure to open the door with a loud creak to draw all attention to myself, and just as I presumed all eyes were fixed on me. I smiled before walking majestically to my seat, I heard Robert chuckling beside me as we both sat at the chair prepared for us.

                           “It’s so nice for you to finally join us alpha Alex,” the king of alphas said. He was a burly man with ginger hair who radiated with power with every movement and had the muscles to match but this was in contrast to the blue kind eyes he had which always shone with knowledge.

                            “Thank you for the invite,” I told him.

                             “That’s absurd, you should apologize for your late coming” yelled alpha, Rob.

                             ”Oh really, how would I apologize for something that wasn’t my intention, I was trapped in traffic and you expect me to apologize when I was the one being stuck,” I told him.

                              “Stop being so arrogant and just apologized to us,” alpha Jayden said and I laughed out.

                               “You all the arrogant ones, imposing on me to apologize for something I didn’t plan, what is it again you old hags” I yelled out

                                “Don’t think because you are the richest alpha right now, you can talk down on us. Sooner or later, you won’t have your wealth again and you will be broken to the point that you will crawl on the ground begging for alms, then we shall see if you will still be arrogant again?” said my Fredrick who was staring at me with daggers in his eyes just like everyone.

               I could the hatred pheromones that were released in the air and Robert just sat there laughing his ass out.

                                  “Enough everyone! You will all keep quiet when sitting or standing before me” yelled alpha Jeffrey releasing his dominant aurora which made everyone cower and immediately shut up. I was affected by it but I managed to put on a straight face. No one in this room will ever see my weak face.

                                   “Alpha Alexander apologize to me and the other alphas present here for arriving late,” alpha Jeffrey said and I chuckle.

                                    “I am sorry but I can't say those words to anyone present here,” I said and the alpha scoffed out loud.

                                     “You either apologize or you leave and never show your face in this summit again ” yelled alpha, Jeffrey.

                                     “The pleasure is mine" blowing a kiss in the air, I stormed out of the alpha's summit with Robert right at my heels

                                      "Good riddance to bad rubbish", I said before getting into the car and the chauffeur drove us away.
