#dream writing marathon II :The Nightmare!

MAKE OR BREAK

They sat for over two hours, still nothing. Kendry was starting to doss off. He had a long day. It was now two Am. Then after a while a black SUV approached Tyroon's house. It was moving so slow that it looked like some kind of protocol. It reached Tyroons' house and itbl stopped. Someone stepped out of the vehicle. He was relatively talk. It was hard to know who it was . The man moved forward a bit and looked both Sides before he called someone from the car. I bet it was Mr Baxter and the other one was the body guard. Mr Baxter got to the gate,scanned his eyes with the scanner that was at the gate and boom the gate opened and shuts remotely behind him. The body guard stayed outside the gate.

After an hour of dead silence, the gate opens again. Two men approached , they were laughing and looked like they were having fun. The other one was holding something that looked like a wine bottle. I bet that was Sean Cahill. When they were on clear light, Liandrah decided to take a snap as proof. Afterall, that's what she came for. She took the snap, but to her surprise her Camera was on flash so it flashed towards Mr Baxter and Cahill. "s**t!", exclaimed Liandrah. "What? What's wrong," Kendry woke up in shock. "Just drive", shouted Liandrah. Kendry drove the car so fast. He was overtaking everyone, swerving every corner untill they were out of site. It looked like there was noone following them so they parked the car on road side.

It was starting to hit Liandrah. She thought how stupid and selfish she was to drag her best friend in this kind of mess without even telling him the whole story. After a while of shock-silence, Kendry decided to ask his friend what was really going on. "Kendry iam sorrry, but I can't tell you! I even blame myself for bringing you here..."(kendry cuts her off) "No you can't put this on you. I chose to be here. And you might not believe it by God knows I won't leave your side because it has gotten a little risky! Now tell me what this is about".

Along the way they stopped at a diner and they ordered some food. Then Liandrah went on to tell Kendry about the whole issue and how important it was for her and her career. To no surprise, Kendry vowed to help her in every possible way. Even though he knew the case was a risk, he decided they pursue it together, only if Liandrah tells him everything about it. They agreed upon that. They then went on home.

Liandrah reached home still feeling the heat and pressure of the case. She wanted just to sleep out what had happened. When she was about to doss off , a call came in. "Heyy beautiful ", started the voice. "Heyy how are you?" ,replied Lie. "I'm just missing you. Where have you been?" (asked the person on the other hand). "I've been busy with work, I will make it upto you I promise ". "Can't wait for that" ,came back the reply. It was Dale on the other end of the line. He was Liandrah's boyfriend. The two have been dating for two years now and they were actually planning to engage in two weeks.

Dale was a decent guy, honest and loving. He was not financially stable though. He had bounced from shitty job to shifty job. He had failed to go to college as his parents couldn't afford to pay college fees. Now he was currently a delivery guy at a mail company. His Job was to deliver newspapers door to door. Newspapers were delivered in the morning only and he was paid hourly so he earned less than the average person's income. He was living in "the surbabians" . Those were residential areas that Kendry now owned. Him and Liandrah had met when Liandrah was working head editor for that mail company.

Early in the morning Liandrah had just came out of the bathroom when she heard a knock on her door. She went on to open the door and before she knew it, she was already embraced gentley. "Dale...you naughty boy(She laughs)" Dale carried her to her bedroom. They cuddled and kissed. Then Dale helped her change since she always would find it so hard to choose what to wear. "Thanx for the help, darling ", she felt loved.

Just when she was all dressed up and ready to go to work her phone rang. It was Kendry. "Heyy Lie, sup",started Kendry. "Iam all good how are you?" "After last night, I feel we have found the only thing we wanted for a long time" . "What do you mean Kendry?" (She was surprised). Just when Kendry was about to reply, Dale had gone wild. "So yeah it makes sense now, that's why yesterday you didn't want me to come over huh? You were with someone else!" Dale was so furious and the just knocked one of the chairs down on his way out. "Dale it's not what you think. Dale!.." She tried to talk to him but he was long gone. She had left the phone on the sink and it was still on call. "Liandrah what's happening? "Kendry heard someone's voice yelling. " You know what Kendry? Just leave me be !" ( She hangs up)

On the other hand, there was trouble in paradise for Baxter and Cahill. Sean Cahill was threatening to pull out all the backing he was giving Mr Baxter. He suspected that the cops had made Mr Baxter to spy on Sean Cahill. Cahill didn't sleep home that day. He had his house sweeped of any recording devices as he suspected that maybe he was already infiltrated. Mr Baxter was working with the intelligence unit to find out what the camera in front of Cahill's gate captured. He was awaiting results.
