Sloane: Ten Years Ago. Age 17
We had been preparing for weeks now. My dad had been in his study with the alpha of Illuminate working out the kinks of an alliance. An alliance that can hopefully help us with everything that's going on. Brenden and I had to hold the house down and if you ask me we're doing an amazing job. He's even held off screwing around. Well not completely since he hasn't "gotten out of bed" yet.
"Let's go," I shouted as the last of our trainees joined me.
We all started our regular morning runs. It's mandatory every morning so we could start off the day. I stayed behind to push those who fell back. It's part of my job and it's something I love doing. Something my dad had taught us. We are all to be treated the same and if one of us falls behind we all fall behind.
