I DON'T WANT YOU.
" I really don't know where to start," Dorah was overwhelmed. This was the first time she was going to let out all the feelings that she had bottled up inside her heart.
" Just tell me where it all started. Start from there," Cooper advised.
"Um- okay," Dorah said as she fanned herself to calm down.
Cooper was so patient to listen to what she had to say.
"Cooper, the truth is that I have always loved you. I love you more than life itself. You don't know how much I have gone out of my way to make you notice me. I want to be seen by you. I really want you to ask me out once and for all," Dorah explained.
"Wait, were you still in love with me when I was dating my ex-girlfriend Daisy?" Cooper had to ask.
"Of course I was. I was jealous of you both." Dorah rolled her eyes as she said this and this scared Cooper even more.
Dorah and Daisy were best friends. How could she be jealous of her best friend?
"I love you Cooper,"Dorah reached for his hand but Cooper pulled away.
"What is the matter?" She asked.
"You are scaring me. " Cooper said.
" You don't have to be scared. I am all yours. I am here to replace Daisy. I got all it takes. In fact, I am better than her," Dorah said smiling.
"You know you are betraying your friend, don't you?" Cooper implored.
"She is no longer here. So, stop calling it betrayal. I am here to get what was always mine," Dorah said.
Cooper was still trying to let what Dorah said sink in as he stared at her.
"We can make love if you want. I am good in bed. I will make you forget about Daisy completely,"Dorah said as she winked at him.
Cooper shook his head in disapproval. There was no way that he was going to date Dorah. Never!
Right now, he is so in love with Juliana and there is actually nothing that is going to stop him from pursuing the love that she feels for her.
"I can make you forget her, don't you get it? Also, I am good at blow jobs and hand jobs," Dorah said this with the aim of seducing him.
She wanted the two of them to make love.
" Should I strip for you? I am a model. I have a banging body," Dorah urged.
"No!" Cooper said firmly.
"What are you talking about?" Dorah was not expecting that answer from him. No man had ever turned her down.
"I don't want to be with you," Dorah said.
" But why? I have all it takes. I have everything!" Dorah lost her temper.
" I don't want to be with you. Please, just stop this nonsense," Cooper admitted but Dorah was not going to take no for an answer.
She moved closer to him. She wanted to kiss him forcefully but Cooper immediately pushed her away. The thought of kissing her alone felt gross to him.
Dorah could not believe that this was happening. No, she cannot lose him. Not after everything that she had done to ensure that the two of them are together.
She quickly went on her knees.
" I am really sorry but the truth is that I cannot live without you Cooper," Dorah said. This time, tears had formed at the slit ends of her eyes.
"Just go away, okay. " Cooper said. He wanted to be alone.
" Give me a chance. Only one chance, that is all that I am asking of you," Dorah continued begging.
"Dorah, you are just like a sister to me. All that I feel for you is friendship. Nothing more. I wish that I was in love with you but I am not. " Cooper told his truth and it broke Dorah's heart into tiny little pieces. She felt so much pain that made her break into tears.
"What is it about me that you don't love? I can change it. I am willing to do everything to change so that you can be with me," Dorah begged amidst sobbing.
" You don't have to change for me, besides, I am in love with someone else," Cooper said. He figured that he might as well tell her that he has fallen in love with Juliana.
"But I have always been here. How come you fell in love with someone else?" Dorah did not care that her voice shook as she asked.
" She is sweet, honest, beautiful, hardworking and vulnerable. I really like her. Please understand," Cooper found himself smiling when he described Juliana.
"f**k you!" Dorah yelled.
She wondered why Cooper was saying all this to hurt her feelings. At this point, it was crystal clear that she was wasting her precious time when she made him notice her.
"Leave my house. I am sorry that I hurt your feelings but what I have learnt since Daisy is, life is so unpredictable. I have to go after the person that I like,"Cooper said.
"You are a piece of s**t! I hate you so much for hurting me!" Dorah said as she stood.
Her chest felt so heavy and her insides felt so raw. She felt so betrayed. The worst thing though is that she wished for Cooper to say that all this was a joke and that he loved her. Despite what he has done, Dorah still loved him.
Dorah grabbed her bag and made for the door but she didn't leave just yet. She decided that if she was going to leave then she was going to leave with the truth.
"Before I go…" Dorah said as she turned around.
"Please go. " Cooper was already done. He needed to think of how to make Juliana fall for him and that would not happen if Dorah was still there.
"Who is she? I want to know the woman who stole your heart," Dorah mumbled.
"Your friend, Juliana. When you see her, please tell her that I love her," Cooper said.
