I knew what I needed to do, I needed to go talk to Rylee, I needed to test her, and to see if I would like her. I knew mom she just wouldn't let anyone walk into this house and take over and change what she had done over all these years. I knocked on her door and opened it, "Hey Rylee can we talk?". "Sure we can talk, what's up?"
"So Rylee, you know we will be protective of our dad right. Well when you too decide to accept each other as mates, we will be protective of you as well, but don't think you're going to walk in here and just take over what our mother built." "Wow! hold on there, you need to settle down, you don't even know me, and who the hell says I'm going to change anything around here, you know I'm not going to deal with being judged every time I turn around, I know Mercury is your father, I know he just lost your mother, I'm not even sure I'm ready to have a mate yet, so don't come walking into my room and act like you're going to intimidate me, because I won't put up with that shirt, Rylee gets in Gabrielle face. So if you don't mind, little girl, I need to rest since I ran all the way here to warn your father that his family is in danger." She shuts the door in Gabrielle face, what she didn't see was her smirking and Gabrielle softly laughed, I'm going to like this woman, she takes no bull s**t off anyone, I think she's going to be able to handle dad, I walked into dad's office and he looked up, "Gabrielle, what did you do?" I started laughing. Dad knew me all too well when it came to him, "nothing dad, I just had to test Rylee that's all," he shook his head, ``Gabrielle, what did you say to that woman?" I smirked, I told her she just wasn't going to walk in this house and start changing everything that mom and you built, but before I could go on, she stopped me told me off and shut the door in my face, I had to do something dad, I needed to find out if she was strong enough to deal with your attitude," he again shook his head, Gabrielle you do know we haven't accepted each other yet right?," ... yes dad but I needed to know, .." and did you find out?" I nodded and said yes, she's a strong woman dad, she will put you in your place, she will put you there if you don't watch it," he started laughing, "we will see my sneaky daughter we will see. Just don't keep testing her you never know she might hang you by your toes. They both laughed.
Rylee was pacing back and forth; she didn't want to be here. She needed to get out of here, She hurried to pack her things and then she ran out the bedroom door. She made it to the front door and started to open it but it got slammed shut but a huge hand. "Turn around Rylee, she whispered no I need to get the he'll out if here, "I said f*****g turn around and look at me. She sighed and said fine. She turned around and looked up at him. "Happy now. He smirked and said. No actually I'm not. Why the hell were you trying to sneak out, matter of fact. He tossed her over his shoulders and walked up the steps. MERCURY BLACK PUT ME THE f**k DOWN. NOW! He opened his bedroom door "alright since you insist, he smirked, putting her on the ground. He shut the door and locked it. Good thing the walls were soundproof. I wouldn't want to know what she was saying, he walked away with a smirk on his face. I'll teach her not to run from me. He walked back to his office and sat down to look at the rest of his emails,

What the f*****g hell. What gives him the f*****g right to do this to me that ass hole, I looked around for a way out, then I noticed the windows, I looked through them, and then looked down, hmmm no, I'm not super woman, I might be a wolf but no surpwr woman, I sighed and just set on the edge of the bed, I swear when he comes back in here, I'm going to throw my shoe right at his f*****g head, I laid back and thought to myself, I might as well make myself at home, I pulled out a clean pair of clothes and went to find the bathroom in his room I took a quick shower, got out dried off and got dressed, I feel a little better, but I'm still pissed at him, meanwhile Mercury was on his way with with Hawk and Spike, to get a collection.
Mercury told Hawk that Rylee was his second chance, they talked for a while about what Cheyenne would do and what she would say, Mercury wasn't sure he wanted a mate. But it was sure fun putting her over his shoulders and locking her in his room. They all started laughing when they pulled up at the house, it was time to put their game faces on. They got out of the car and walked up the steps to the two story house. They heard music and people talking they kicked the door down as two guys were standing there with their mouths dropped opened, There was another coming from the wide hallway, when he heard the door being kicked down, he grabbed his gun and started running into the living room, he had the gun out and started shooting, Mercury, Hawk, and Spike dived out if the way, the man kept shooting into! He ran out of bullets, that's when Spike dived and tackled him down, the other two pulled out their guns and pointed them at Mercury and Hawk, boy the gray hair dull green skinny guy dropped his gun with he looked at Hawk, his hand and legs were shaking Mercury looked over at Hawk, Hawk had his fangs out drooling like a rabbit dog, the other ran, Mercury took after him, running down the hallway toward the room where he ran into, Mercury kicked the door and watched the guy fly on the floor, "So you thought I forgotten about you Henry, well you thought wrong, where is my f*****g money man?",''"Mercury just give me more time, I'll have your money,"''"I gave you two years of you running from me, now again, where is my money Henry, '""fine it's in here let me get it.
