Betty POV I was still tense, and a little upset by the intrusion by Enzo’s mother. The woman had made it clear she would continue to send women to my mate and hope to have one catch his eye. Even though I knew Enzo would not be interested, and I was the one for him, that was not the only reason for me being upset. My mother-in-law saw me as a low-life and riff-raff.
