Enzo POV The day started well, but the growing heat made us travel slower. The horses pulling the food wagons were struggling a little bit. We should arrive tomorrow. There was no sign of early rain as I had hoped. It must have blown over. However, the wind did pick up and cool us down a little bit. The wind change was good for the fire too, blowing it back onto itself. If the wind continued like this for another hour, the fire would burn itself out. There was nothing left for it to burn.
