Rowan's POV: We found a small clearing; those who were less injured began setting up a makeshift camp after which they attended to those who sustained some major injuries. I knelt beside Gaius, examining his wound. It was worse than I had initially thought. The cut was deep, and though we managed to stop the bleeding for a while, he needs proper medical attention, and soon. “We need to find some herbs to help him,” one of the men said, but I shook my head. “No. It’s too dangerous.
