Maddie's POV:
The anticipation was killing me as I sat in the waiting room for my appointment that afternoon. I came an hour earlier because I couldn't sit still at home. And nobody knew I wasn't home because Rowan has been gone for some days now on a mission for his pack.
He had tried to get me to see his dad but I insisted that it was too soon. It was going to be a real irony if it turns out that I'm pregnant.
I have totally stopped working out but Rowan is not aware, if it's not walks I don't bother because my mornings have been hell. I wanted to test myself with urine first but the information I got off the Internet on how they could be wrong and if Rowan finds those in the trash he would have a lot of questions that I didn't have the answers to.
