Alpha Terry's POV:
"You will learn the price of betrayal” The harbinger said, raising his hand to strike Marek. “Your power will be stripped from you, and you will be cast out, a shell of the witch you once were."
Marek's eyes widened in fear. To be stripped of his power was a fate worse than death. He struggled against his bonds, but it was no use. The harbinger's magic engulfed him, tearing through his body with excruciating pain.
He screamed as his power was ripped away, leaving him weak and helpless. The witches watched in silence. When the harbinger finally released him, Marek collapsed to the ground, gasping for breath.
“Let this serve as a warning to you all” the harbinger said, pointing round all the witches present before turning back to look at Marek.
