Madison's POV "Eldora's gone." The moment I realized Eldora was missing, my world tilted on its axis. It felt as though the ground had been pulled out from under me. I could not breathe; I could not think. Rowan’s arms around me were the only thing keeping me upright as the reality of the situation sank in. My precious daughter was gone. "Eldora’s gone," I whispered, the words tasting like ash in my mouth. Darkness crept at the edges of my vision blurring my sight, and the last thing I remembered was Rowan’s panicked voice calling my name as I slipped into unconsciousness.
