Andrew's POV:
Rowan's voice dwindled into the far distance as I and the small crew which I had assembled to search for food, journeyed into the forest.
The last few hours had us all exhausted and we're urgently in need of something, anything that can keep us going.
The forest was peaceful, almost too calm, as the horrors of the previous night lingered in the atmosphere. We dare not stray too far from where others are seated waiting, not with the imminent possibility of another attack hovering over our heads.
We cautiously head into the dense brush, examining the trees and shrubs for any indication of edible fruits.
