We waited for Gaius and the others to return with the morning passing away slowly.
In order to pass away time, I shared stories from our werewolf pack, tales of past battles and victories.
I told them about a time when we confronted a powerful witch attack. By then our pack had already discovered a remarkable substance called Moonshard, a silvery mineral that was abundant in our territory. We learned by chance that Moonshard had a unique property—it could weaken witch magic. It became our secret weapon, a lifeline during those dark days. Without it, we might not have survived the relentless assaults.
I made them understand that it was by the use of Moonshard we could protect our home and our loved ones from the witches' malevolent spells during those dark days.
