KLAUD
I heard neighs. Horses.
Did they have horses here? My eyes searched where the sound was coming from. As if the horses were calling someone.
Suddenly…
“Have you tried riding a horse?” Elik asked.
I smiled shyly and shook my head repeatedly. I have only seen horses in pictures, on TV, or the internet. I have no luck with riding one.
“Follow me–” Elik stood up.
I was utterly dumbfounded. More so when he approached me, I did not move an inch from my seat. He grabbed my hand, silently urging me to stand up, and when I did– he stepped towards the door, and I had no recourse but to follow him.
We walked away from Mia and Elik's parents, as dumbstruck as I was.
