CHAPTER FOURTEEN
After leaving the site where Henry and the flooring contractors were working, Stella headed back to Parkway Drive, where the murder had occurred. She stopped opposite the Taylors’ home and walked to the front door of Graham Haddow’s house.
When she rang the bell, he opened it almost immediately.
“I saw your car pull up outside,” Graham said apologetically. “I’ve been watching the street a lot more than I used to after this happened. Probably a lot more than is good for me.”
“I hope you feel safer soon,” Stella sympathized. “In the meantime, could I come in? I have some more questions.”
