“ A lot has happened to me, my dear brother. We really need to talk,” Elijah said in a low voice as he walked into the living room.
His head was racing, he was in a lot of stress and confusion. He tried massaging his temples hoping that it would calm him down but it was not helping either.
The stress and the frustration that he was feeling didn't seem to go away. He wished that he would have met Natalie and talked to her. He hoped that she would understand that he would never cheat on her. All this is Sashas doing. She was so jealous of their relationship and that is why he decided to drag him and force him into making love to her.
“ Do you expect me to talk to you as if nothing happened? Huh? You have not even apologised to me,” Jeremy said, folding his hands in front of him. He was pissed at him and he didn't think he was ready to forgive him just yet.
“ I am so sorry brother, I didn't mean to leave the house and not welcome you when you come back,” Elijah said, taking a seat in the living room.
“ Didn't you want me to come back, huh? Just be honest with me,” Jeremy said. He didn't understand what could be so important that made his brother leave the house and not wait for him. He had been away for two years, doesn't that mean something to him?
“ Stop making me feel worse. Okay? Yesterday was the worst night of my life. Right now I have lost everything. My fiance might even break up with me and I don't know what to do with myself. I am a failure, there is nothing I can surely get right,” Elijah said this before he started sobbing. He needed to let all these emotions out because it was too much for him to bear.
Seeing his brother break down made Jeremy aware that whatever it was that he was going through was so heavy. This was bigger than him. Even if all that he wanted was to scold him for not showing up yesterday, he could not help it. He loved his brother and now that he was not okay, he had to be there for him. They would discuss all this once he had calmed down.

As soon as Jeremy left, Natalie didn't not spare any minute. She quickly jumped to her feet and started dressing up. She had to leave the house as soon as possible before the person who was downstairs came up and found out that she was the one warming his bed.
Talking of the person downstairs, there was one way to find out who they were. She left the room slowly, ensuring that she didn't make any sound that would make Jeremy remember that she was waiting and want to introduce her to them.
It didn't take Natalie long to register that the person who was actually downstairs was none other than her fiance Elijah.
Thinking of him alone made her body shake with rage. How dare he show up here after everything that he had done to break her heart. How could he be so cruel?
Recalling that this was actually his home reminded her that she should not be there to begin with. She had to go.
But, Natalie couldn't contain herself. She wanted to look at him and just see if he was happy with himself for ruining the deep love that the two of them had for each other. At this point in time, she wasn't thinking about herself and how she cheated back with his brother Jeremy. All she couldn't think about is him and his actions because this is what drove her to cheat.
She was not willing to take accountability for her actions.
Natalie knew that it was a bad idea creeping around. What if he saw her and put one and two together? She couldn't help it, she had to see him. She had to see his face.
She was careful as she walked down the stairs. Any wrong move would bring all the attention to her and she would have to explain why she was there yet she didn't want the truth to come out. Elijah must never know that she cheated on him with his brother and Jeremy must never know who she really is.
Seeing him made her heart drop. She wanted to confront him. She wanted to let him know of how she was the best girlfriend to him but he was going to lose her simply because he could not keep it in his pants. It's such a shame. She would be a loyal, most loving girlfriend but he ruined all that. It's true what they say, men don't know what to do with a girl who loves them a lot. They ruin everything, just like Elijah did.
Standing there and watching him was not helping anyone. She was just getting more and more angry.
She tried to go back upstairs but she ended up making noise. She was upset. How dare he continue living his life as if nothing happened. He was conversing with his brother looking alright and this broke her heart.
Thank goodness she decided to come be with Jeremy, otherwise she would have lost her mind. Jeremy saved her.

“ Did you hear that?” Elijah asked Jeremy. He had heard the noise come from the stairway.
“ Oh yea, that's Solange. I met someone yesterday,” Jeremy said with a smile.
“ Brother, you have never stopped being a playboy, have you?” Elijah asked, smiling.
“ Actually, she is different. For the first time ever, I want to have something solid with her,” Jeremy confessed and Elijah was surprised. This was unlike him. What did this girl do to make him change his mind?
“ Really?” Elijah wanted to clear his doubts.
“ Yes, actually, let's go say hi to her. You need to meet her,” Jeremy revealed and they headed upstairs right away.
