Knock knock
"Come in," Nico said looking up from his desk.
"Hey man, how was your night?" Angelo asks looking at Nico sitting there with a huge smile on his face.
"Everything was perfect. Katya and I completed the mating process." Nico said still smiling
"It's hard to believe she's eighteen today," Angelo said shaking his head
"I know, but I'm happy as hell she finally is. Princess is ordering furniture for our bedroom. I don't know what all she will be ordering. She wants everything new." Nico said smiling
"When are you going to announce her to the pack? You know your sister is going to be asking questions." Angelo said looking at him
Knock knock
"Come in Princess," Nico said sniffing and smiling hard
Katya opens the door walks into his office
Nico is holding his arms out for her to come to him. She walks to him smiling
"Hi, Angelo, it's nice to see you again," Katya said smiling looking at him
"Hi Katya, it is good to see you again too," Angelo said smiling he is looking at how beautiful she is. "She was beautiful when I last saw her. But now she's is gorgeous." He is thinking.
"Angelo, I want you and Sofia to join us for dinner tonight. We're going out to celebrate Katya's birthday." Nico said kissing her back. She's sitting on his lap.
"We would love to," Angelo said smiling
"I want to announce Katya tomorrow morning as Luna," Nico said looking at her
"Okay. I'm heading to training" Angelo said smiling at the two of them
"I'm taking my princess to the garden. I am going to let her pick out whatever she wants." Nico said picking up a tablet.
As Nico and Katya are walking downstairs holding her hands. All the she-wolves are looking at her whispering about her. They all want to know more about her.
Nico leads her to the gardens.
"It's beautiful." She said as she's smelling the flowers looking at him smiling
"Not as beautiful as you Princess," Nico said smiling at Katya as she looks over at him smiling.
"Alpha can I see you in private?" A blonde headed woman said looking at Katya
Katya's smile faded. She recognized the lady's voice, from Nico's bedroom.
"I'm busy right now." He said not looking at the blonde. He notices that Katya isn't smiling anymore.
"It's very important." The blonde said looking at Katya, rolling her eyes
"Anything you want to say, you can say in front of your Luna," Nico said smiling and winks at Katya
Her beautiful smile has returned. He loves her beautiful smile.
The blonde woman walks off, mad as hell, and rolling her eyes at Katya. "Luna?" She whispers
"Nico, what is this about having dinner with you and your mate? What mate?" Sofia his sister said while walking over to him. Angelo is walking behind her.
Sofia stops talking, looking at Katya. "Hi, I'm Sofia, Nico's sister." She is looking at Katya
"Hello, I am Katya Burrell. It is nice to meet you." Katya said smiling stretching her hand out to Sofia
"You too." Sofia said smiling, shaking Katya's hand "I like her." Sofia is looking at her brother
Nico smiles
"Nico, can I train with the pack?" Katya asks as she's looking at the pack training.
"No Princess, I don't want you doing that right now." He said looking at her shaking his head.
"Okay. Are you ready to go back inside?" She said still looking at the pack training
"Whenever you're ready," Nico said. He hears the disappointment in her voice. He also feels her sadness through their Mate link. "Princess, after you do your first shift. We will talk about you starting to train." He said looking at her
Katya just nods her head looking at the flowers.
"Nico let the poor girl do something. You can't keep her sheltered." Sofia said looking at the young girl
"Why not? He did for three years." Angelo whispers. Trying not to let Sofia hear him.
But she heard him.
"He did what? You did what?" Sofia asks looking at her Mate and her brother
"It's none of your business," Nico said looking at his sister
"Katya, how old are you today?" Sofia asks looking at her
"Eighteen." She said smiling at Nico
"Where is your pack?" Sofia asks still looking at her
"Atlanta Georgia," Katya said looking at Sofia
Sofia is starting to put things together. She knew Nico hasn't travel anywhere in some years. He would always send her mate to handle pack business. He would go to the mall, but other than that Nico has not left the house. A lot of packages were delivered every week.
"It's time to go inside Princess," Nico said reaching for Katya's hand
"You are not getting away that easy, brother. Spill it, Angelo." Sofia said sounding furious
"Nico found her when she just turned fifteen. She is his mate. She has been living in the bedroom next to his." Angelo said looking at Sofia
Sofia is standing in front of Angelo with her hands on her hips. "You had this young girl here all this time?" She's whispering yelling at Nico
"Yes, she's my Mate. I couldn't leave her." Nico said looking at Sofia
"Did they kidnap you?" Sofia asks her. But she looking at her brother and her Mate.
"No, my family knows where I'm at. I talked and video chat with them a few times a week." Katya said smiling
"Oh, okay good," Sofia said giving Nico and Angelo the evil eye
"I took good care of her," Nico said hugging Katya.
"Your mate was here, when you slept," Sofia stops in mid-sentence. She's looking at Katya
"He slept with sluts, I know. I haven't come up with a way to make him pay yet." Katya said looking at Nico
Nico's eyes got big. He couldn't believe his sweet Princess said that.
"We will sister, we will," Sofia said laughing
"What has your mate done?" Nico said looking at Katya and Sofia walking off talking
"Man I'm glad that I'm not you right now," Angelo said shaking his head
That evening Katya and Nico are getting dressed for dinner. Katya puts on a white sequin strapless knee-length dress, diamond hoop earrings, diamond necklace, and bracelet. She combs her hair to the left side.
"You look beautiful. Happy birthday" Nico said, giving her a ring box from Tiffany & Co.
Katya opens the box, she sees a Pave Tiffany setting with Pave Diamond Band on Platinum. 1.66 carat.
"It's beautiful, thank you." She said kissing him.
"Your welcome Princess," Nico said as he slides it on her fingers.
"Do you like the furniture and bedding that I pick out?" Katya asks looking around the bedroom.
"I love it," Nico said kissing her forehead. wrapping his arms around her waist.
