Alpha's Secretive Young Mate

Chapter 5

Everyone is looking at Katya and Nico, as they walk downstairs. He is holding her hand. They are wondering where and when did he find her. Also, when did she arrive. Nobody has seen her come to the pack.

Mrs. Betty looks up at them nodding her head, smiling. She's so proud of Katya, she feels like she is her daughter.

Sofia and Angelo meet them at the bottom of the stairs.

"I love your dress," Sofia said hugging her.

"Thank you, I love your dress too. " She said smiling looking at Sofia's dress

Nico wraps his arms around Katya's waist,  sniffing her hair, burying his head in her neck. She put her hand on his head, rubbing it.

"Come on you two love birds," Angelo said smiling looking at them.

"Later that evening"

The two couples are sitting at the table in a French restaurant.

"Everyone will have a glass of Merlot and bring a bottle of Gout de Diamants Champagne. "(Taste of Diamonds) Nico said, smiling at Katya

The waitress looks at Katya

"I said, everyone," Nico said in Alpha command

The waitress bows her head, before leaving the table.

Nico is smiling, holding Katya's hand.

"Now I know where you were during breakfast and dinner," Sofia said nodding her head smiling

"Did you train in your old pack?" Angelo asks Katya looking at Nico.

Nico isn't happy about him asking his Mate that. He doesn't want her to train. "She's  my mate and that's my decision to make."  He's thinking

"Yes, I did,"  Katya said as she sips her wine. She is used to drinking a glass of wine with her dinner. She and Nico would have a glass with their dinner every night. 

"Princess isn't going to be training right now,"  Nico said looking at Angelo and Sofia

Katya didn't say anything.  "I will continue to train like I have been doing" She's thinking.

The waitress brings a raspberry pink velvet cake over to the table.  Nico had preordered it weeks ago.

"Happy Birthday, Princess," Nico said handing her a car key to a 2021 Infiniti Q 50.

"Happy Birthday, Katya." Sofia and Angelo said smiling

"Thank you," she said smiling looking at her cake

"Your car is parked in the garage,"  Nico said smiling

The waitress cuts the cake after Katya blows the candles out.

"Mmmmm, " Katya said eating her cake.

"I remembered that this  is your favorite," Nico said smiling at her

She smiles back

Sofia and Angelo are watching how Nico acts around her. He is very attentive to her and a different person.

"Sorry, Princess but we have to go. Rogues." Nico said as is signing the check and reaching for her hand.

Once they pull into the garage, Nico looks at  Katya  "Go in the house to our bedroom. Sofia, go with Princess." Nico said as he and Angelo were running around the house.

Katya and Sofia are looking at each other as they slowly walk into the house.

"I don't want to go to my room," Katya said shaking her head

"I don't want to go to your room either," Sofia said looking at her

"Kat, mate needs help,"  Seraya yells in Katya's head.

"Nico needs me."  Katya's said running out of the house.

"He's going to kill us if we survive," Sofia said running behind her.

Sofia stops in her track when she sees Katya shifting into a huge pure white wolf. Sofia shakes her head then she shifts runs behind her. She's still looking at the white wolf.

Katya's wolf runs over to Nico,  he's fighting six wolves. She pulls a black, brown and white wolf by his neck off of Nico. Snaps down on his neck throws him to the ground. Biting one on the shoulder. He is howling because of the pain. Taking her large sharp claw across its throat, slicing its neck opened.

Nico is still fighting four wolves.

Seraya pulls another wolf off of him, she slings him into a tree.

Sofia runs over to him bites down on his neck.

Angelo runs over to help Nico. But stops when he sees a white wolf opening its mouth on a brown wolf head. Seraya bites his head off, spits it out on the ground. Nico snaps the other wolves' two necks.

Nico's wolf Diesel sees the huge white wolf. Then run behind a tree shifts into his human form. He put on a pair of basketball shorts. He is more worried about Katya, he didn't see her but saw Sofia. Nico walk from behind the tree he is looking at Katya.  She is still in her wolf form. But doesn't know it's her. "Where's Katya?"  Nico yells looking at Sofia.

Sofia and Angelo are looking at Seraya, pointing at the white wolf. He turns looking at the wolf as she is shifting.

Katya shifts back in front of them.  Her clothes are still attached.

"Princess,"  Nico said hugging her.

"Your wolf is so pretty," Sofia said

"Your wolf is bigger than Nico's wolf Diesel,"   Angelo said 

"When did you shift? Did you shift by yourself? I'm sorry I wasn't there."  Nico said looking at her

"Nico, my first shift was when I was ten,"  Katya said looking at him.

"Ten? Why didn't you tell me? Why is your wolf white? Why didn't your clothes shred?"  Nico asks looking at her smiling

"Yes, ten. I didn't know why I was here until the last night. You could have been a psychopath. My mother's wolf was white. So I guess I took that after her." Katya said looking at him

"In her defense, she's right," Angelo said nodding his head

"I still don't want you to train right now," Nico said.

"Okay,"  Katya said kissing him. Then she starts walking to the house. Sofia is walking beside her

"Dude, you do know she saved your ass. Right?" Angelo said looking at Nico nodding his head

"I know she did, her wolf is beautiful just as she is. My mate is a badass. " Nico said smiling, walking fast to catch up with Katya

" Unknown POV"

Today I visit Alpha Burrell's pack, I said it was for pack business. I haven't been there in years. I lied I just wanted to travel to his territory. Because today is Katya's eighteenth birthday. I wasn't the only one there. Several other Alphas were there waiting to see her too. I even think there were a few vampires.

When I arrived I was greeted by Alpha Burrell and his son Future Alpha Aiden. "Katya was supposed to be the next Alpha. Where in the hell is she?"  I was wondering.

Every time I brought her name up, her father and brother avoided talking about her. Aiden would look funny at his father.

So I went in search of some answers. I saw a young Omega girl. I asked her where was Katya. She said that Katya left three years ago. What the girl said next I was not expecting to hear. That an Alpha came and took her away. That was the last time they saw her. She couldn't remember his last name or the name of his pack. But she remembered his first was Nico. I ordered my Beta to find the son of a b***h that has Katya. I want him dead. I want Katya I don't care how long it takes to find her.

"Alpha Burrell POV"

Today is my little princess's birthday, I knew we would have visitors. They all wanted to see Katya, hoping they were her Mate.

Zafrina, Katya's mother didn't get the chance to tell Katya everything about her bloodline the entire story. I never did, I planned on telling her on her eighteenth birthday, which is today. But once her Mate found her I figured that maybe she doesn't want to know. Nico doesn't know about her or who she is. He only knew she is his mate.

Her mother would tell her stories about her culture and who she was. Katya was too young to understand. She probably doesn't remember.

Nico gave me a million dollars in order to take her. I didn't need or want the money. I set it up in a trust fund for Katya.
