I couldn’t sleep for most of the night. Alarick woke up several times, probably because I kept moving and mumbling in bed. I was simply too excited because of Kendra. I tried to call her in my mind, but she didn’t come to me. For the first time I really wished she had a phone like I did, so I could call her and inform her of the people that would pick her up tomorrow or the next day. I just hoped she wouldn't be that surprised.  “Good morning,” I greeted Alarick with breakfast in bed.
