Two days. It had already been two long days and I had no information about what was going on. They didn’t allow me to talk to her and I couldn’t reach her myself. Alarick kept everything secret and my father wasn’t any better. I was going crazy. I still believed Kendra would agree and probably even help persuade her parents to let her go, no matter which story my father concocted for them.
