Albi's Point of View
I woke up feeling better than I would have done if I'd had a natural full night's sleep. Whatever drug Evelyn had given to Lilly had certainly done the trick. I felt like a new wolf.
I opened one eye. Lilly was looking at me apprehensively. She was worried about how I would react to her. I thought about winding her up but instead I gave her half a smile.
"Am I forgiven?" She asked.
"Just about." Well, she couldn't be let off that easily. "What time is it?"
"A little after nine. You've been out for a few hours now. Are you feeling ok?"
"Actually I feel great." Her shoulders sagged with relief. "That doesn't mean you can do that again though!" I added quickly.
