The tiredness was rushing over my face, I was still gasping ponderously. My cheeks were hit and flushed with embarrassment. I touched them with my palm, it was burning hot as if someone rubbed red chillies over my face.
“Ezra, are you not coming for dinner?” Joe rattled on the door and asked me.
“You have it! I am sleepy!” I replied, staring at the packets of Pringles I bought at the school. I finished one and the other is still in my bag.
“Alright! See you tomorrow.” He left and I picked the most interesting book just to distract my mind.
Lord of the Rings, what else could be the best book to get over that incident?
But it was just my misconception. Whatever happened in the evening just trembled me with shock. I kept my hand on my heart and tried to calm its ups and downs. I touched my trembling lips with fear and excitement at the same time.
I went to get a glass of water in the kitchen and bumped into a robust back. I blamed my bad luck again because it was Eric.
“Will you stop chasing me?” He sounded so irritated.
He considered himself the sun, as if the world only revolved around him. I will never choose the path where he will be.
“I didn’t come here chasing you. I applied for tutoring three days before. I just met you today, how can you assume that I am following you.” I used the same tone and that must drive him crazy. His expression said it all. He rolled his eyes and smirked as if I was faking it.
“Really?” He smirked at the corner of his lips. His blue oceanic eyes shined brightly. I never seen anyone’s eyes such deep blue as if there were many secrets hidden in it. “Have you lost my eyes?” He caught me staring at him.
“Lost? I think you lost it.” It was hard to convince, but yes, for a while I was lost in his eyes. His gaze was breath-taking for any girl.
“Your nose got red, you are lying.” He said, pointing at my nose. I immediately touched my nose and he laughed. I realized that he had just caught me lying. I stared at his shining teeth which appeared in between his bowed lips. The cold look now disappeared. “If you are not chasing me, then why did you come here?” He stepped forward and pondered my heart like a coal engine.
“I am very thirsty, that’s why. Do you think I was craving to see you?” I just grabbed the bottle, then I bit my teeth to realize what I'd said had other meaning too.
“Thirsty… ummm” He bit his lips and I felt like I should bury myself somewhere in the ground. My f*****g tongue spit the wrong thing at wrong place. “I have a thing that could quench your thirst.” He smirked wickedly, making me heated. It was the most awkward and dirtiest sound I ever heard. He did not even touch me and his sexy voice started turning me on.
I did not want to get more embarrassed, so I held the water bottle. I pretended it was unheard and moved my step to get back. As soon as I took the first step, Eric tripped me over my legs and I was almost about to fall. I quickly held his collar to get support but instead he fell over my body.
“Fuckkkk…” we both fell on the white tiles in the kitchen. I bumped on my head and just screamed.
A lightning struck over my head when my lips were glued to his lips. Oh f**k! His body pressed against mine, and I was bearing his weight over my tiny body. The adrenaline rushed through my blood. His hands were around my waist. He gripped my waist tightly and my bust was pressed over his chest, mixing the beats of our hearts.
I tried to get away from him but he pulled me closer and did not let my lips get away from him. The strong breath of the strawberry he just had was forced into my mouth. I started grasping for breath. His grip around my waist locked me with him.
It was good that Tanya arrived and I managed to escape from his arms, also I avoided the awkward moment after kissing. I still cannot believe that it was my first day of school and I literally kissed Eric, the future Alpha of the Red Shadow pack. The embarrassment lurched in my stomach.
I noticed that the light in the middle room was turned on and off every second. It was more than two hours that I kept sitting in front of the glassy window of my room. Whenever his shadow appears, I just touch my lips. His smell was lingering in each and every cell of my lips. Oh f**k! I never thought this way. God knew what was going to happen. He was not even my friend. How could I think this way?
The more I convinced myself that it was just an accident, the more his forcefully not ready to leave me flashed in my thoughts. The tingling inside my panties was again aroused by his shadow. He was taking his shirt off. Oh my god! I started grasping for breath again. I felt like His long and slender fingers rolled inside me, leaving a soft moan in my mouth. The amusing smile he gave me was as if my clits turned a toy for him, my throat turned dry.
“I told you I’ve a thing to quench your thirst.” His rough voice showed how badly he wanted to f**k me. Again, moans escaped through my mouth, but those moans turned into hiccups when he just unzipped his pants.
I opened my eyes in hustle, Oh god! What did I see? I found myself sleeping in the armchair at the front window. I must be crazy. I turned my head down, and it was all wet. My panties got wet, oh no! I was dreaming about Eric fingering inside me. I was sleeping in an awkward position. I literally took my thoughts too far just because of the kiss we both had.
I walked down to the porch and realized Joe had already left. I forgot he told me he planned to watch a movie with Jessica in the theater. I picked the cycle which Mom and Mark just brought for me. Last morning when they dropped me off, they were concerned about the gas prices.
The summer was at its peak in Los Angeles and I was sweating to death. I stopped the cycle at the middle of the bridge that would be passing to the school and grabbed the bottle of water out of my bag. I never liked to be dehydrated, so I always carry a bottle. It has become my duty now.
I just drank a few sips, and my eyes went to the girl whom I found in the toilet. My eyes tapered because she was alone in that strange place. She stared at the water for a while. One might have thought she could be having time alone but I paused as her action seemed suspicious. Her steps got closer to the edge, so close that she could fall even if someone pushed her a little. I really didn’t understand what she was doing.
As I turned back to keep the bottle back in my bag, suddenly a sound of water startled me. I saw she was not on the edge. I left my cycle and ran to the edge. She fell into the river. No one was around and she just jumped into the river. I could not understand what to do. I just jumped in the river, following her.
Luckily, the flow was not speedy and I was a good swimmer. As I found her, I immediately grabbed her elbow and pulled her out of the river.
We just sat on the bank, letting the water drip out of our uniforms. If anybody sees us, we will be a laughingstock for the day. Better dry ourselves in the summer heat. She was still trembling with fear. She had no guts to look into my eyes. Now I can see her pale face clearly, she was thin and weak, just the same as me. To avoid me, she got up and I grabbed her hand.
“Are you trying to commit suicide?” I asked her. Her pulse throbbed in my wrist. She was baffled and shook her head.
“No… I just fell into the river...” She said no, but her face was saying something else, gloomy and serene.
“Are you serious? I thought you jumped deliberately.” I asked her again.
“Yeah! I was tripped.” She dusted her uniform from her butt as the soil got stuck to her back. Our white shirts turned pale. I read her name Laura on our school tag. We walked to the bridge together. She was silent with no expression on her face, more mysterious than the Mona Lisa painting. I noticed her legs were still shaking. I felt bad about her. She must be troubled by those bullies, that’s why she took such a big step.
“Laura, Come with me.” I took her name and her eyes rose up. She was baffled. I was ready to give her a lift on my bicycle. She widened her eyes.
“What, What did you say?” She gazed at my cycle again.
“I will drop you to the school.” She shook her head and refused my help.
“I don’t want you to get in trouble because of me.”
“Don’t worry, I will drop you before school.” I assured her that I wouldn’t be in trouble. The school was still far away and she had nothing. I came to know her cycle was missing from the second day of her school.
I stopped the cycle at the gate of the school, and she got off the bicycle. She smiled bitterly, more painful as it could be.
“Thank you so much. I thought all Alpha and Beta were the same. But you are really different. You never treat omegas like s**t. People should care about others and not bully.” She sarcastically pitied herself, yet pain was visible through her words. She went inside but then I found her bag still hanging on the handle of my bicycle.
“Hey... Laura...” I followed her with her bag, and she faded away. As soon as I turned back, I bumped into the hard chest again.
“Are you really a Beta’s daughter? I guess you are worse than Omega. See she is her assistant.” Eric’s veins throbbed in his neck. He had already seen me dropping her here. They did not like me helping Laura at all. I thought Eric was immature, but I found even Eleanor and Edward’s faces were gloomy too. They didn’t like the way I held her stuff.
“Worse than omegas are humans. Do you consider yourself them? You behave like cheap humans, they don’t discriminate because they are at the lowest position.” I was thrilled when Eleanor said it with ultimate disgust. They mentioned humans again. By their last conversation, I realised how much they hated humans.
“What if she is an omega, we are in the same place, so how can we say that we are superior to them?” I stared at Edward with a convincing look. I thought he would understand me. When we were in the library, I found a book, The White Fragility, in Edward’s collection a few days ago. He must have read that.
“You want them to get an education here and then rebel against the Alpha? They should be at where they are. There are many schools who accept Omega’s. I think they should go there.” Even though he was calm, his thought was Omega or any lower positioned Wolf should not stay at the school. Triplets were completely different, but at one point they shared a common view and that’s treating Lower than them as a f*****g asshole.
Joe arrived and he was baffled to see Alpha’s triplets there around me with their mad faces. He raised his brows to ask me what I did to offend those triplets.
“Joe, Seemed like she didn’t know the certain rules of the school. Explain to her before we needed to explain it to her.” Eric grinded his teeth. Joe adjusted his specs and rolled his eyes to ask what had happened. “She is too good to be in this school, it’s not social work.” Eric kept his hands over his shoulder and spoke.
“We should talk.” Joe was disappointed. After listening to the fifteen minute lecture on why I shouldn’t mess with the triplets, I walked to the mathematics class on the third floor. Usually all lectures were on the ground floor as very few students were going to attend the lecture today. All were watching the football practice that went on the turf. As I stepped to the third floor, I heard some panting sounds from the third room of Math. I realized some students must have been watching p**n on the terrace. Because that panting sound sounded more like a moan.
“Ahhh Ahhh.” I turned curious when I heard that loud moan again. There were still twenty minutes for the Math class so I walked to the terrace and, stunned by what I saw, it was mathematics professor Mathew standing n***d with his pants down and one girl was giving a b*****b to him. The professor’s eyes were closed as if he was enjoying the utmost pleasure in the world. I walked ahead and hid behind the door. Another shock made my jaws drop.
I rubbed my eyes, thinking it must be watching some dream. That girl was no one else but Laura. Mathew pulled his pants down and was completely n***d with his c**k straight. Laura sucked his c**k slowly. He held her hair and shoved his c**k into her mouth, leaving her screaming.
