I stared down at my white cat as he rubbed up against the black one who was left behind by my mate and sister. My phone rang loudly in my pocket and I knew it was Ashlyn's mates before even looking at the screen. My stomach twisted painfully as I opened a portal to the front of the Hybrid Kingdom castle. I wasn't going to tell them over the phone. Plus, I needed my sister's help.
"Dream, you and your friend are coming with me," I ordered. Dream sighed before stepping through the portal with the black cat following behind him.
As soon as I stepped through, there was a fist meeting my jaw and I was thrown back onto the ground of the garden. Pain shot up from my lower back up to my skull as I shook off the blow.
