When you see stars
-James-
I can't sleep and just keep turning in my bed. Yesterday morning, Rachel was ‘lost-gone-missing’ and Eric was furious. After he took her out of the pool, no one saw her anymore. He said she wasn't feeling well and this morning she was going to go to daycare with Justin. That didn't go through and was moved for a day. So they're going tomorrow, or actually soon later today. No one had seen her. For a day and a half she stayed in the suite. I heard from Anthony that she had gone running in wolf form at night, with those other two women who are with her.
Anthony and Matthew and three of our warriors also went along. Justin had seen them come back, but said that Rachel was not with the group. Justin also mentioned that when they were in school, in the history course that Rachel got a lot of questions about the princess, that she stepped out of class so Anthony and Matthew could answer those questions. As the princess herself said, 'Anthony and Matthew always go with the princess when they are outside the palace'.
Here it is also mainly Anthony and Matthew who go with Rachel. Jake and Kenneth are more with Eric. What would the princess be doing now? Can't she leave the palace for a year? Rachel looks like the princess. We all found that right away. Her hair is less shiny, her skin is less shiny, her eyes are one color instead of two and Rachel has freckles. The princess doesn't have that. What was her name again? I thought it was also Rachel. Max said that he didn’t see a royal tattoo on her wrist, a princes has a royal tattoo. I'm going crazy here in bed. Sleeping is clearly not going to work.
I get out of bed and walk down the stairs. The light in the kitchen is on. That's weird. I smell her scent and my wolf makes a leap in my head. This is too crazy for words. I've never experienced anything like this before. My wolf never jumps when he smells women. I walk into the kitchen and there she is, yoga pants that are tight around her body and a shirt that just as perfectly embraces her figure. Goddess, she has a beautiful ass. She has to realize that someone is with her, she stops her movements and stands still.
My body moves towards her by itself and when she turns around I look into her beautiful blue eyes. My wolf gets mad in my head and my body screams for her touch. It takes me all my energy to stop that. Why? I always do what I feel like doing. When I feel like it, I never hold back. Why now? Her body relaxes and her eyes friendly.
"What are you doing princess?" I ask, and she stiffens again and her eyes almost fall out of her head.
"What did you say?" She stammers.
"What are you doing?" I'll say it again. I feel that she feels uncomfortable and I want to pull her into my arms. Stop. Don't.
" Why do you call me princess?" she asks. She steps back and puts the oven plate with dough on it in the oven.
"Because I think you look like a princess, you are beautiful, like a princess. I know you're not a princess, but I said it without thinking about it. But I mean it, so I'm not going to say sorry for it." I tell her and I mean it, I've often called girls a princess, also because I thought they were handsome, but mainly to flirt and hopefully take them home, or to be allowed to go home with them. She's still five days here, so doing something now would be really incredibly stupid, but I can't help but think about that. To her lips, beautiful full lips, my hands on her hips, her soft skin touch, how she would taste. Goddess f**k!!
She blushes, she's f**king cute!
Behind us, someone clears his throat and I see Jake standing in the doorway.
"Rach! Why don't you lie in bed?" he says and steps into the kitchen
"I couldn't sleep, Jake. I've been so free to bake some bread for tomorrow morning." She says. Jake walks to the fridge and grabs a bottle of water and sits down at the kitchen island. His eyes are from her to me. "What about you?" he asks, the man of few words.
"I couldn't sleep either. I went downstairs to have a drink and wanted to go outside and found Rachel in the kitchen."
He keeps looking at me and I look back.
"Go put on something else." He says stiffly. Rachel looks at him and then at her clothes.
"Rach.." He says with caution. I want to tell him that my princess can wear whatever she wants, especially when we are alone. But I'm not saying anything. Better that I keep my mouth shut. I look at her body. Goddess, she is beautiful. Jake is right, she has to put on something else. I just keep staring.
"Jake, stop it." Sigh Rachel. I look at her and then at Jake, replacing his angry look with a grin. Where does that grin suddenly come from?
"I'm already going to put on something else." She sighs.
Jake gets up and pulls his shirt off. "Here." He gives her his shirt and my wolf growls, now his scent hangs around her. Jake and Rachel look at me. F**k I did that out loud.
"Anyway, I'm going to sit outside." I say. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and walk out of the kitchen and sit outside on the porch and look at the stars, s**t. Why does my wolf growl, he's her security guard? What does that matter to me?
I hear the door open and I don't have to look back to know that she is outside too. She has a blanket around her and Jake's shirt is way too big for her. I should have given her my shirt. Yes, my shirt would have been better. Also too big, but that would have been better. Huh a blanket? It's spring, it's not cold anymore, it's never really cold here.
She seems to be able to read my mind. "I have thinner fur." She laughs sheepishly. She's lying, normally I'd call her on it, but something's holding me back. What I don't know.
"Can I sit here?" She points to the couch next to me and I nod.
She sits next to me and my wolf keeps whining that I have to touch her. Wtf
I put my arm over the back railing and she leans back against my arm. Her feet pulled up on the couch and the blanket around her. She smells wonderfully of flowers and vanilla and I smell something of earth, that's from Jake, yuck!. Her smell dominates, lucky for me, and it is Intoxicating.
"Jake. Stop." She says, and I look up. Jake looks at me with my eyes pinched together, without a shirt, he's not cold.
"Go Jake" she says, but he shakes his head.
"We both know that's not going to happen." He says without looking away from me. He just looks at what he wants. My hand is here and it stays there. I turn my hand to her shoulder and see Jake's teeth. When I almost put my hand on her shoulder, my eyes still on Jake, he shows both his teeth and his nostrils go up and down. The man is angry, ready to attack. I laugh inside. I put my hand back on the railing, without touching her, and see Jake relax more. He does take his job very seriously.
"Are they always like that?" I ask. She giggles, oohw Goddess. I love that sound. Wait, what? I hate it when girls giggle. Wtf.
"Yes, when Eric gives them an assignment, they are always very professional," she says softly.
In silence, we look at the stars. She leans more and more towards me and puts her head on my shoulder. I hear Jake growl, but Rachel ignores him. Eventually, I put my arm around her over her shoulder. She looks up slightly, but stays put. When the sun starts to get up, she gets up.
"Thanks. I'm going to take the bread out of the oven." And she walks in, Jake right after her.
And I’m left with a hard-on, alone, outside. I have to go for a run.
