It was close to midnight when Stella and Carrie arrived at the Coleridge family home. Patrick’s wife, Liane, had agreed to see them when they’d called her a few minutes earlier. Stella felt huge relief that this interview could be done tonight.
There was a good reason why the spouse was always the main suspect. They needed to probe for any possible motive and confirm Liane’s alibi.
