Tylor slumped back on his bed, lazily scrolling through his feed. He was done with his classes and had no interest whatsoever to be anywhere but alone. Don't get him wrong he has come to like his frat brothers, but they are always rowdy and loud. He needed to be somewhere quiet. As he plugged his earbuds, he heard the footsteps approaching his room. He tilted his head only to look at Greg with his face flushed red like he was holding back his laughter.
"Tylor hurry up!"
"What's going on?" The twenty-year-old sat up, pulling his earbuds off.
"You have to see for yourself. Come on!" Greg tugged at his arm. Tylor was pretty sure that it must be one of their pranks gone wrong or Jason might have stuffed his mouth with an entire packet of Oreos. Both of them wouldn't be surprising him anymore. It was funny at first.
"Do I have to?" Tylor groaned, already following his friend out of the room. At times like this, he hated giving in so quickly and not holding his ground.
"Yes. You will thank me later" Greg huffed, looking over his shoulder, his eyes twinkling.
Now he was invested.
As soon as they reached the laundry room, Tylor stared at his friend Greg. What was so interesting about a laundry room? As he was about to ask him, Greg tugged him inside, pointing at his twin standing in the middle of the room.
It took Tylor a second before he burst out laughing, staring at Michael's jersey drenched in pink colour. He threw his head back, trying to hold back, but the faces Michael pulled with that piece of clothing on him was indescribable. Tylor gasped, finally getting a hold of himself before he cleared his throat.
"Ballerina, twirl for us!" Greg yelled on top of his voice, hooting as he stared at his brother. Tylor couldn't believe him because he was also filming his brother.
The others cheered, Jason, even attempting to whistle for their team captain.
Michael frowned, glaring at no one in particular, "That's it! You are doing twenty rounds on the ground tomorrow!"
"But I'm not even on the team" Greg chuckled, shaking his head and the others joined. Tylor felt sympathy at his friend's situation because he was going to be teased endlessly for that.
Michael made a face, growling. "Wait till I find out the evil genius behind this! I'm going to punish them so hard."
Just then, Tylor's eyes fell on the pink sock lying by the washing machine. He stared at the jersey and the sock for a few seconds, effortlessly connecting the dots. Violet. She was the one who could pull something like this. Besides no one in their frat wore pink socks or would be foolish enough to prank their Captain a day before their big game.
Why would she do that to Michael? He was Anna's crush and the guy she was trying to impress. Maybe that sock was meant for him.
"Michael where was your jersey this morning?"
"Does it matter?"
"Just answer the question."
"I threw it somewhere around your basket. Again why does it matter?" Michael narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms in modesty as his twin was filming him.
Viola! He should've known that Violet wouldn't be pranking anyone without reason. Did Anna tell her the things he said to her? It's not like he was lying anyway.
Tylor schooled his features before turning towards Michael, "I think I know the person who did this"
"Who is it?! I will not spare them"
"Ahh don't worry I already have a payback plan" Tylor smirked.

Throughout the match, Tylor kept throwing knowing smirks in Annas direction in hopes of flustering her. She was squirming, all bothered by his looks and it was enough for him. They won the match with 3-1, and he managed to score two goals out of the three. Everyone was cheering for him, but he had other plans.
As the coach asked them to wait, Tyler slipped out along with Michael. It was a revenge plan for him, after all. He had to be there with the rest of his team and hear his coach lecture about their game; instead, he's using his precious time to teach Violet and Anna a lesson.
"Are you sure we should be doing this?" Michael furiously huffed, jogging along with Tylor.
"Do you want your revenge or not?"
"I do, but I like her. What if this f***s up my chances with her?"
Tylor felt his heart clench at those words. He hated to admit, but the thought of someone being with Anna made him irk. Especially someone like Michael, who was better than him. Anna didn't deserve Michael; she would only toy with his feelings which is why Tylor is annoyed. Definitely, it's that and not because he still cannot forget about his ex-girlfriend.
"Then you'll know she's not the one! It's a harmless prank."
Michael snorted, "Harmless? Yeah right"
Tylor rolled his eyes and jogged across the street, towards the parking lot. It was deserted save for the guard who was sleeping. It didn't matter. Most of them were still seated in the bleachers, so they were safe. A sigh left his lips when he noticed that it was Anna's car just as he thought.
"Tell me again, how do you even have the keys to this car?"
Tylor pressed his lips together at that. He didn’t want to remember the moment Anna had accidentally swapped the keys with him. They both had the same car models; only his car was slightly better. After finding out their silly mishap, she thought it was a good memory, and they should hold on to those keys. The memory made him sigh.
“Why does it even matter?”
“Because it’s illegal!”
“Meh” Tylor rolled his eyes, jabbing the key into the car door. It opened quickly, not that he was expecting anything else. He had the key for a reason, after all.
Tylor was aware that it would take a few minutes before the students gather around the parking lot. He took a deep breath, not even bothering to look around before he pulled open the door. Michael insisted on standing outside and keeping a watch, so Tylor was the only one to climb behind the wheel. He cracked his knuckles, setting his bag on the passenger seat. The sweet flowery scent inside made his nose twitch. Why was she everywhere? The more Tylor wanted to get away from her, the more he felt drawn towards her.
The seat's pushed too close for Tylors liking. He could barely feel his legs as they felt stuck in between, but he had no choice. He almost felt like adjusting the seat even though he's not going to drive it. Anna would get a kick out of it and would be suspicious enough not to open the door, so he held back.
A knock on the window startled him; he almost hurt his forehead in the process. Michael stared at him, hurriedly motioning towards the wrists.
“Hold on!” Tylor huffed, digging his supplies out of his bag and set them up on the seat.
A few minutes later, he emerged out of the car, a smirk on his face as he set up his plan. Anna wouldn’t even know what hit her! The thought himself made Tylor hide his smile. It would be worthless if he didn't stick around to watch the outcome.
“Let’s go!”
“I need to watch” Tylor protested.
“You are going to get us killed today” Michael muttered, following him towards the tree on the other side of the street. The road divider in the between almost hid them both.
Anna and Violet stumbled out the door, holding on to their ridiculous bags and laughing about something. As they stared ahead, Tylor quickly ducked behind. From his view, he can notice the frown on Anna’s face as she hesitantly stepped towards the car.
Tylor held his breath as she unlocked the car when he heard the sound. The first balloon popped, making her jump. Violet tugged her back. Both of them stopped, staring as the balloons started exploding.
“Holy f**k! This is hilarious!” Michael cackled getting out of his spot.
"What the f**k?!” Anna yelled.
Both girls tried to yank open the car door, in hopes of getting all the heat out but it was pretty much too late. Tylor made sure to fill the car with the balloons just in time for them to heard the first pop. He had no intention of overfilling her car and breaking the glass, but there's enough in there to retain the heat and pop the balloons.
As if she felt his stare on her, Anna lifted her head, and her eyes flew wide open. She threw her bag in Violet's direction and angrily paced towards him, her hair sticking to her face. Tylor almost felt hypnotic staring at her as she had the same spark in her eyes. He missed it.
