Isla I immediately looked over at Abigail. Her eyes were as wide as the doctor's. She clutched at her chest. She went to stand up but stumbled back, and Dr. Lockhart was there in an instant to catch her. They looked into each other's eyes, not breaking their intense eye contact as Abigail's eyes misted over, and her mouth hung open. “I guess this is my cue,” I said.
