My pleasure, Mr Peters

-Benjamin Xander and I joined the girls at the Café, but it was as if I was not there, because Skye and Sabrina ignored me and Ella kept glaring at me. "I can't believe you gifted this to her," Skye said to Xander, looking dreamily at the Café. "Wedding present," Xander shrugged. "What would you like to drink?" A young woman came to take our order. "I'd like a Chocolate Frappuccino," Sabrina said first. They all ordered and when she looked at me, to take mine, she blushed. "American coffee, please," I said, not taking my eyes off of her, and she nodded without writing it down. Skye saw this and I thought she was going to slap me again. On the contrary. As she was sitting on my right, she poked me in the arm and I looked at her. That is when her lips crashed on mine. "Seems like they made up," I heard Sabrina say. "There," Skye said when she broke the kiss. "That was all I needed." The tension between me and all three of them seemed to be gone now. "Where is Genesis?" Skye asked out of the blue. Why does she care? "Oh. Paul came here and asked her out. At first, she didn't want to go, but I told her she could have the day off. She deserves a bit of fun," Ella smiled, but when she looked at me, I swear she smirked. "It was nice of you, Ella. She hasn't been on a date in almost six years." How does Skye know that? "She told me. I encouraged her to go on dates, but she was too focused on work. This past week, she was asked out by three guys in the hospital." What?! How did I miss that? (You were ignoring her) My wolf spoke to me for the first time in weeks. Oh. That's right. "That was very nice of you," Sabrina looked at Ella in awe. Why does every woman look at her like that? She is not a Goddess. "It was the least I could do. She deserves much, much more." The waitress appeared and brought us our drinks. "Thank you, Stacy. Now, I would like to talk to the two of you about the wedding," Ella pointed to me and Skye. "What about the wedding?" Skye seemed concerned. "Xander and I thought it was best if you had your wedding at DWT." "Are you serious? At DWT? Your hotel?" "I don't want to be rude or anything," I said with the least enthusiasm, "but, we are getting married because her father made us. Not because we love each other." "Why would you say that?" Skye looked at me and I could see she was hurt. "Because it is the truth. I do not want a big fancy wedding. I never wanted to get married. I never even wanted to have a mate. This is all a ruse. You know that, too. You were against us getting married." "Yes, but that was before I got to know you." "We had been seeing each other for weeks. You knew me already and that was as much of a fun time for you as it was for me." "Ben, come on man. You will only get married this once. Enjoy it," Xander shrugged. "We all know that this is not real," Ella tried to smile. "Let it be real only once." Oh, God. What did I get myself into? (You got what you deserved. You didn't let me mark my mate. She is now running around with another man.) (Shut up, dickhead.) (Yeah. I am the dickhead.) Grey, my wolf, rolled his eyes at me. "What do you say?" Skye looked hopefully at me and because of the embarrassment I have caused her family, the only thing I could say was . . . "Fine. Let's have our wedding at DWT." "Yes!" She jumped out of her chair and planted kisses on my face, which made me even more uncomfortable, but since I am getting married to her, I have to live with it. One hour later, we were back at the library but Genesis was not. I can't believe she was still out with that fucker. "Oh. It's Genesis. She left me a message. Paul is taking her home so she won't come back here. I guess we can go home as well." "I hope she had a good time," Sabrina was smirking and I knew what she was thinking. "Uhm, I was thinking we could go shopping, if that is okay with you," Skye asked Ella and Sabrina. "Ella should lie down. She should rest," Xander said quickly. "Grow some balls," I suggested, and the girls laughed. "We'll see how you will react when Skye here gets pregnant." That sent a chill down my spine. Skye pregnant? I knew we were getting married and all that, but it never occurred to me that we were going to have children. "Do you want to come with us? You can take care of me," Ella asked Xander, and just when I thought he couldn't become any more of a husband, he accepted. "Really?" Ella grinned. "Of course. This way, I get to carry you around. It's a win-win. Let's go," he picked her up and she let out a playful yell. "I assume you will not be joining us?" Skye asked me and Sabrina walked away. "You know me. I don't like shopping." "Neither did Xander." "Xander found his mate. I haven't," I said bluntly. Skye nodded and walked away without saying goodbye. I am getting tired of her thinking that this is a real relationship. After she was gone, I decided to snoop around and the first and only room I wanted to check out, was Genesis's, but I had no idea where it was. To my luck, the receptionist does. I walked to her desk and when she saw me, her face lit up. "Hello, Flora," I smiled. She bit her lip for a second, probably thinking, 'He remembered my name!'. "Could you please show me the way to Ms. Martin's office? She has forgotten something and since she can not come, she asked me if I could pick it up for her." "Of course, Mr?" "Peters," I winked at her and she blushed. "This way," she took a deep breath and straightened her dress. I followed her and, since I was behind her, I got a look at her ass. Nice, but it still doesn't get me going. At least not like Genesis. "This is it," she said suddenly and stood in front of a door with Genesis's name on it. "Thank you, Flora." "My pleasure, Mr Peters." She bit her lip once again and left. I opened the door and her perfume filled my nostrils. Just her scent makes me hard. I closed the door behind me and started looking around. There are transcripts on her desk and a laptop and some flowers. Something possessed me into checking her desk drawer and I opened it. The only thing in there was a small photograph turned upside down. I took it and turned it around. My heart skipped a bit at the sight of the photograph. I can not believe this.
