When he reached downstairs, he was greeted by his mom’s melodic humming and fresh smell of baking.

Automatically he went towards the kitchen to see that his mom was taking the freshly baked bread from the microwave and setting it on the dining table. He went towards her.

“Good morning beautiful. You always make my mornings wonderful with your presence and your freshly baked goods”. He kissed Diana’s cheek and sat on a dining chair in the kitchen for breakfast.

“ you are such a sweet talker.. I still can’t believe that about how you managed yourself to remain single till now…its beyond my imagination” exclaimed Diana amusingly.

“Mom !!! Not again…that too in early morning….not the girl topic please”.

“OK….ok…..I won’t start……don’t make a face as if I killed your puppy..”

“that’s my mom….always right on spot”…

”don’t be too happy… I left you off the hook now . But that doesn’t mean that you are Scot free.. I still need you to find a girl ASAP“ Diana strictly told her son.

“yeah….yeah….for a second, I thought I got lucky as I thought I escaped from your clutches” Chris mumbled under his breath.

“What did you say?”.......

”nothing mom”.

“That’s what I thought. Then eat your breakfast”.

In the middle of his eating, Chris suddenly thought of something.

“Mom, how is the little monkey doing? Did she call you?” Chris was wondering why his sister Katy was not calling him recently.

“Don’t call your sister ‘monkey’. I named her after my mother Katherine” Diana glared at his son for his choice of words for her little daughter.

“Ok sorry…how is she?”.

“She is doing fine. She called me yesterday. She told me that she would be busy these two weeks as her final exams are approaching. So she won’t call us as frequent as before”.

“Tell her to come home when the exams are over”. Chris was sort of missing his little trouble maker he call sister.

They two were inseparable during their childhood days. Since they were children of single parent, when Diana went to work, those two relied on each other.

Chris took care of all of his baby sister’s needs often as he used to accompany her most of the time.

“Yes honey…I will tell her to come home soon. I miss her too” sighed Diana thinking of her only daughter studying in abroad.

After finishing his breakfast, Chris did his dishes and went to his office.

Since it was Saturday, the roads leading to his office building were less packed with traffic. So he arrived a little early to his office.

Soon he requested a cup of hot black coffee, his favorite, and began his work.

When Kevin came to work, he realized that his big boss had already arrived.

‘why should he make my life so miserable…..It’s already chaotic as it is normally… he had to be perfect in everything he does and why does he want to make other’s life looks like to they are lazing around…Can’t he be like those other big bosses who would come to their office only twice or thrice in a week??? Or at least, can’t he come late??!!!’thought Kevin sadly…

Biting the bullets and resigning to his so called fate, he organized his table and sorted out the files needed for today’s schedule.

After struggling to complete everything quickly, after 20 agonizing minutes, he arranged everything related to his big boss’s schedule and existed his cabin.

Entering Chris office, Kevin greeted him. “Good morning boss”.

Chris was busy in his files.he had his head inside the file when Kevin entered his room.

Before Kevin entered, he was half way through his third file. Hearing his assistant's voice, he raised his head and greeted him back.

Receiving a greeting from Chris, Kevin was delighted inside. As his big boss’s mood today was good, he was determined to maintain that atmosphere throughout the day.

He silently prayed his god to give him strength and reported the important schedules to Chris.

After explaining everything regarding today’s meeting, Kevin also gave the related documents for cross checking to Chris, as today’s project signing would bring more profit than their financial department had calculated before.

As usual the day went terrifically slow with all the conference meetings, meeting foreign investors and winning the best proposal for the project at hand and signing the final contract details.

Everyone was impressed by Christian’s imposing, tactical and confident method of dealing the details of the project.

He proved himself as one of the best business man once again before everyone.

Mr. Colton Perkins, one of the partners of the signed project , was very much impressed by Christian.

‘He was not only handsome and talented, he was well behaved with a strong personality. It was such a rare combination of beauty, brains and manners' thought Mr.Perkins.

Because Christian was never over himself. He knows his strengths and he used that to his advantage..

he was honest with oozing confidence but not with a little bit of arrogance in his way of speaking or behaving. He carried himself confidently with such a grace, that no one would believe he was not from a rich background.

He made a name for himself in this business world in 5 years that no one can avoid him, even if they wanted to.

He proved himself as the most successful business magnet as the magazines describe him to be.

Chris carried himself with such confidence, that would put even the experienced business man to shame. Because even though he got power, fame and popularity, unlike others he doesn’t act arrogantly.

He respects everyone with equal importance. He is not like the current high society bachelors who would act as if they own the world, when the truth is they don’t even own a single penny of their own.

All they do is flaunt their family’s name , spend their ancestors money like no others business and party all day and night surrounded by women….

Unlike those rich men partying like a headless chicken, Mr.Perkins liked how well behaved and composed Christian was.

After finishing the business deals, everyone congratulated each other on doing a successful business.

They all agreed on celebrating the their successful collaboration at a resort in the night.

After interacting with everyone, Christian arranged their stay in his hotel and assured to meet everyone at the celebration party at night in the resort.
