Caitlyn couldn't bring herself to meet Hunter's gaze as she made her way into school that morning. Whenever her eyes would fall to him, her body would tense with anger-something he came to notice. However, Hunter wasn't the only one to notice this either. Diamond and Aaron both caught her clenched jaw and glare as she couldn't focus on anything throughout the day aside from her obvious anger. Even though they tried to make jokes with her, she was hellbent on this singular emotion.
"Hey beautiful…" Jack spoke as he came up behind her at her locker, as Hunter watched from his own perch upon the steps that led to the second floor of the high school. As girls flirted relentlessly with him, he acted as if he cared of their words-all the while blocking them out and focusing on Caitlyn.
