"So I see Barbie and Ken made up." He teased as she glared. "Come on, don't judge me so quickly, I am a romantic at heart."

"A romantic who corners a girl in the bathroom after spilling a drink on her?" He held his hands up in defeat before smirking to her.

"I am sorry…"

"Okay." As she went to move past him, he held his arm out so she couldn't get by him. Due to this, her eyes were forced to meet with his own.

"I have a boyfriend, as you saw…" she commented as he smirked, slowly nodding, before moving himself towards her to the point where she was pinned against the locker. Luckily, they were the only ones left within the hallway, allowing this moment to only be known between them two.

"What makes you think that my one burning desire is to change that? I just wanted to give you something to think about…"

"Oh yeah? And what's that?"

He leaned into her, bringing his lips to her ear. "A guy should make your panties wet, not your eyes." She was at a loss for words to what she was told as she wasn't sure if it aroused her or disgusted her. But she admired his ability to be confident in who he was, which was trouble for sure...but also something else...something she felt that she could connect to.

Chapter One- Hunter's Prey
His hand made its way up her skirt, connecting to her milky skin held private to all but those except those she allowed. Her plump lips fell open in a moan while his mouth focused upon her neck, pressing inexperienced yet kind kisses upon her throat. As her eyes closed, she could feel her heartbeat begin to become elevated, the thought of what warms inevitable between a boyfriend and girlfriend who loved each other racing through her mind. However, as she thought of s*x and each implication that it could hold, it would be her reason for pulling back each time. With each encounter, they would become further and further with whatever base they would be on, but just before he would bolt to third, she would pull him back to home base. "You're killing me, beautiful…" he spoke to her before pulling his shirt back over his torso. "But I don't want to guilt you...you are just so sexy…" it was clear that he attempted to speak the words of a gentleman-even if his actions screamed of having been lustful. Home carried his lips back to her neck to try and excite her once more, but the mood was killed for her by now.  "I'm sorry...I just don't feel…" she lowered her gaze as she looked to the handsome young man sitting in front of her. Out of every guy in school, Jack was the one that every girl had a crush on at one point or another. He held an all star appearance with perfectly styled hair colored a dirty blonde color. This enviable mane fell around his perfectly chiseled cheeks, brought together by his sun kissed skin and athletic physique. His emerald eyes drew her in from the moment she met him, well into the next two years that they had remained a couple. However, his million dollar smile would not be enough for her to drop her panties at the drop of a hat. She couldn't exactly pin why it was she couldn't commit to him this way. She loved him, she knew that...and yet, she couldn't relinquish her virtue to him.  "Well then, I will meet you downstairs...I need a minute." He commented before placing a sweet kiss on her lips before watching her leave him to "deflate". For the last two years, Caitlyn Pallone and Jack Thompson were the "it" couple at school. Each couple craved to be like them as they were fawned over by everyone nearby. After all, Jack was the star lacrosse player and Caitlyn was the principal's daughter, a match that her favor had actually favored. Of course, the details of nights such as these may have been altered so he would allow her to continue to go out and keep her social reputation up to par.  As she descended down the steps, the latest Ellie Goulding hit playing to its crescendo, all eyes fell on her as she had done so without Jack on her arm. Those who were in her social caliber took this as a sign of her being single, and so they rushed to her while trying to play being suave. Caitlyn herself was a stunning young woman with long chestnut locks that fell halfway down her back-but were curled in this particular instance. With her residence having been that of sunny California, her skin also omitted that sun kissed glow while a set of gray eyes stunned all who met with her gaze. Her physique itself had been the reason for so much male attention, however, as her breasts had been the largest in the class, and her figure wasn't that of a stick figure, but also part of someone who took care of herself.  "You have to see this!" Caitlyn's best friend, Diamond, spoke as she pulled her from the steps and away from the horned up peers that would die to just get a kiss from her.  "Thank you so much…" Caitlyn thanked Diamond before moving into the kitchen area of this house party. The counter was littered with brand names of alcohol and different colored plastic cups as duos lined the counters of the room speaking of various topics. With Caitlyn and Diamond trying to push through to their shared friend, Aaron, who was the joker of any party, Caitlyn felt her shoulder hit against something hard. When she turned to look to see the origin of this, she could feel the lukewarm liquid of an unknown yet highly aromatic drink fall onto her chest.  "Hey, look where you're-" before she could finish her accusatory tone with the person who made her shirt wet, she became locked in surprise to who stood before her. Having been popular, she knew everyone within the school, which made the fact this stranger was just that to her, a bit exciting.  "Sorry, princess." He spoke in a condescending tone before looking to her in preparation for a rebuttal.  "I'm not-" before she was able to defend this adjective used for her, he moved close into her. Although she knew she should have pulled away, she couldn't help but remain close as the scent of his cologne was intoxicating-or perhaps that was just the scent of being a stickler for hygiene. Either way, it made her legs lock in place.  "Not that I'm complaining but...you CAN see that black lace bra...so you might want to…" he motioned two fingers as if dismissing her, as she glared at him when he pulled back. She found it difficult to speak against him due to his deep brown eyes and dimples-even as he was the complete opposite if Jack.  Jack! Her heart sank in thinking how he would feel seeing her speak to someone of this stranger's level of attractiveness. Because of that, she thrust her way through the crowd and into the closest bathroom. Closing the door quickly behind her, she searched everywhere in the bathroom for anything she could use to either dry or remove the stain completely. She certainly couldn't return home smelling like rum...or whatever concoction of varied liquors made up his drink. Caitlyn tried to force her shirt beneath the faucet, but the construction of it had forced her to then remove her shirt to have the best chance of cleaning it. She remained viciously scrubbing the fabric, before the door to the bathroom quickly came open before she could close it.  Her eyes locked onto him again, his obvious badass persona having been stronger than the attraction she felt for him. "Here…" he spoke before lifting his own shirt from his torso-leaving her speechless. He was impossibly fit, with his muscles having been concealed beneath the black tee he had just removed. His left arm had been fully decked in tattoos from the elbow upwards, and moving across his back, ceasing just at the middle. When she was finally able to speak, she began growing angry at him.  "What the hell are you doing? You can't just follow a girl into the bathroom!"  "I wanted to see if you were alright...and apologize."  "I'm great, apology accepted...now bye." She attempted to shoo him as quickly as possible as she could feel her body temperature rise with each second she was around him. With each attempt to think of Jack, the sound of his voice or the feeling of his gaze had made her forget she even had a boyfriend.  "Hey...um...you've got something on your chin…" he spoke, his finger moving to wipe it before an arrogant smirk read over his face. "Just a little drool, it's okay, I'm used to it." Rolling her eyes and frustrated that he believed himself to be the greatest man alive, she wanted to knock him down a peg-or twelve.  "Please, you wish. You have to use a desperate ploy of spilling a drink on someone in order to get her undressed...I doubt it works for you otherwise."  "Well you are more fiery than I thought-out don't flatter yourself princess, you bumped into me. I don't waste my time with goodie two shoes." Half offended that she wasn't apparently "his type" she glared at him. "But I mean… you are halfway undressed." Suddenly the door came open once more before he outstretched his hand, slamming it with little to no attempt. Cait could feel her heart nearly beat from her chest as she was. before him shirtless, matching his lack of an ensemble as well.  "Get your ass out of my way." She finally spoke against him, now growing frustrated that he believed she would give herself to him that easily.  "That is no way for the principal's daughter to be talking." Her eyes narrowed deeply into his direction.  "So was this just a ploy to make everyone think you slept with the principal's daughter?" She asked upon crossing her arms over her chest, no longer caring that they were both shirtless.  "Believe me, princess, I wouldn't need a ploy." His words came out seductive as he pressed her up against the bathroom counter. "Besides, you're cute little face was on a picture on your dad's desk when I was putting in my transfer papers." "Transfer...You're coming to Evercrest?" She looked to him in complete disbelief. The bathroom door came open once more, his time, showing Jack on the other side of the threshold. He was forced to do a double take upon seeing her shirtless with another man who was also shirtless.  "Jack-" she went to speak to him before watching him turn away. This forced her to follow after him, in her bra, forgetting of this, even after all eyes fell to her in awe. Diamond was among this crowd, looking to her best friend in disbelief.  "So you won't sleep with me but you'll fuc-" suddenly the man who was shirtless, appearing older than the rest of those that surrounded him, took hold of Jack's collar.  "It was my fault, man...don't be crude." Cait found the irony in his words to confuse her, as he was the one who had spoke of how easily he could get her to sleep with him. But now, he seemed noble-kind even.  "Let go of me, transfer." Jack challenged him. "And stay the hell away from my girlfriend." Jack was released, as Caitlyn chased after him.  "He spilled a cocktail on me-"  "Then why were you both in the bathroom and why was HE shirtless?!" Jack asked upon turning to her.  "He-"  "You know what? I need time to think if waiting for you is even worth it." The words, painful, had made tears form in her eyes. She was left abandoned at the party, wrapping her arms around herself before feeling a weight come over her shoulders. Expecting it to be Diamond or Aaron, she was surprised to find the material to be made of leather and the giver having been the now covered peer.  "Here." "No-" "Seriously, you are going to freeze to death out here. Just give it back to me on Monday." Knowing she was left without any other option, Cait took the leather jacket and brought it around her until it made her modest once more. As he began to walk away, he noticed the perverted gazes of their classmates having stared at her.  "Enough of the peep show!" He spoke in a raised tone as she found her cheeks to become present with a blush. "You should probably have one of your friends take you home…" he suggested when noticing Diamond and Aaron looking to them in deep focus. When the handsome drifter looked towards them, they suddenly acted as if they had not even noticed them-making both Cait and this mysterious man smirk.  "Thank you…" She lingered, waiting for him to address himself before he simply continued walking towards a motorcycle.  "Of course he rides a motorcycle." She said to herself before watching him pull himself over the seat, straddling the hog, before finally turning to acknowledge her.  "I'll find you on Monday, but just keep the jacket...it looks better on you." She couldn't help but become smitten before watching him ride away from the party in only a black tee, while she wore his leather jacket. Just before the darkness of the night had taken him, she managed to make out the tag on his motorcycle as having read "Hunter1", hence learning his name. But in a matter of seconds, Diamond pulled her hard against her to get the full scoop. "Tell. Me. Everything." Cait fought the assumptions against her, despite the evidence that seemed to pile against her. She eventually convinced Aaron and Diamond of the truth, before being brought home by them both via Aaron's pick up truck. Sliding free from the seat belt, she made her way onto the sidewalk, before then moving up quietly to her room. Luckily, her father had fallen asleep on the couch, allowing her to enter without having to explain the new leather jacket. However, she wouldn't be able to sleep due to the fact that the jacket remained in her mind. She thought of the small details about him that made her heart completely soar-even as she should have been heartbroken by Jack's words. But each time she had tears form in her eyes, she then thought of Hunter and his gaze seemingly looking directly through her.  That next morning, as she got ready for the new week, she stood before the mirror, indecisive with what to wear. Before, she would dress as little miss sunshine with nothing more than maybe a small amount of her clavicle showing-but now, knowing Hunter would be present-day wanted to punish boundaries. Even those that she had made for herself.  "Fifteen minutes!" Her father called from downstairs as she decided upon a basic black tee shirt and used a razor to tear apart an old pair of jeans. Knowing her father would ask too many questions, she stuffed the jacket into the backpack and disappeared down the steps to greet her dad. He pushed for her to eat something, although she was never much of a breakfast person, before finally driving her to school.  From the moment she entered, she began scoping out the familiar area for Hunter-but only found those around her to whisper and point at her. Doing her best to ignore them, she then came upon Jack, who waved at her nervously. He closed in the area between them before leaning up against the nearby wall, his lacrosse stick leaning against his leg from having arrived early to school for practice.  "Can we talk?" He asked, making her feel obligated to listen, while also secretly watching out for Hunter. "I was a complete dumb ass who is just suffering from severe blue balls babe...I don't mean anything that was harsh...you know that I love you…" as she looked to Jack, she knew that what he had spoken had been in the best attempt to apologize, but a part of her didn't want it.  "I can't believe you would think that I could just hook up with someone like that!" "I'm sorry...but you were both shirtless and close together and I...I just got jealous-please Caity…" feeling as if she owed it to herself to accept his apology, she had done so, in just enough time to see Hunter enter the school. Wearing a basic black tee that seemed to be his signature, he crossed the threshold, well aware of the eyes stuck onto him, but only responding to Caitlyn's eyes, before smirking.  Jack threw his arm around his girlfriend before the first bell of homeroom echoed throughout the entire school. Resulting in an uneventful class, Cait moved to her locker, exchanging her books, before moving to close it.  "Hey princess." Her heart stopped when she saw Hunter leaning on the lockers aside from her own. Somehow he appeared far more attractive than before, his eyes seeming darker yet holding the possibility of redemption in his seductive and equally dangerous gaze.  "Here." She spoke before removing the jacket from her backpack and setting it for him to touch. He looked to her in confusion before she explained. "Thanks, but its it's not mine."  "I told you, you looked better in it." She c****d her jaw before feeling an arm come across her shoulders. She recalled the weight as belonging to Jack, making her give a nervous smile.  "I don't think we have officially met," Jack spoke while extending his hand. "Jackson-but everyone calls me Jack." "Hunter." He gave his name in an intimidating tone that forced chills on Cait's skin. But she refused to allow either her boyfriend or Hunter know this. So she interlaced her fingers within Jack's while convincing herself that the other guy in front of her was nothing but trouble.  "I'll see you after practice babe." Jack spoke while planting a passionate kiss on Cait's lips before then moving towards the gym, a few doors down from her locker.  "So I see Barbie and Ken made up." He teased as she glared. "Come on, don't judge me so quickly, I am a romantic at heart." "A romantic who corners a girl in the bathroom after spilling a drink on her?" He held his hands up in defeat before smirking to her.  "I am sorry…" "Okay." As she went to move past him, he held his arm out so she couldn't get by him.
