For the next week, Cait was able to lie to herself in forgetting the steamy kiss that had transpired between her and Hunter-or at least told herself she had. Truth be told, as she would walk through the halls with Jack's arm outstretched over across her shoulders, her gaze would fall to Hunter and she would see him seducing some girl with those devilish dimples and deep brown eyes. She could feel herself grow envious of whatever girl he was speaking to that day and even though his own gaze would fall to Cait as she passed, it was as if he had noticed her but evicted her from his mind. Because of this, her heart began to ache whenever she was around him, especially when this had been done unintentionally. It seemed as though fate had other plans for her as even though she tried to sit beside her boyfriend, she always needed up in the visual field of Hunter. In one such instance, it seemed as though Hunter was playing with fire as he happened upon a group of lacrosse buddies of Jack who had struck up a conversation with them.
"How do you do it?" One of his male peers asked as Cait was pulled towards the conversation with Jack holding her waist. "How do you get all these girls to like throw their panties at you?" Both Jack and Cait rolled their eyes at this but the next words that Hunter spoke had caused her to freeze in her tracks.
"I don't know...I mean this one girl came in the locker room a few weeks back and just threw herself at me. I don't know if it was the mascot suit or what...but she was all hot and heavy on me.. heaving...even trying to take off her clothes."
"Man! That is so freaking irritating… I mean I can't even get a girl's number and you have them lining up for you...its gotta be the bike." As their male peers spoke in detail of what it could be about Hunter that made girls swoon, his eyes fell to Cait-clearly trying to get a rise out of her. Unfortunately for Cait, she would be abandoned by Jack as he was due to play on the field, but was left with a playful kiss that gave a sweet reminder of how things used to be.
Cait positioned herself on the bleachers between Diamond and Aaron as they cheered for their favorite team captain. Even though Cait was often bored by sports, she could feel Hunter's eyes locked onto her, and so she wanted to anger him. It seemed to work as he had left the game and allowed her to relax alongside her friends, up until the point she left to go to the concession stand. Taking orders from both Diamond and Aaron, she made her way to the long line, pulling out her wallet, before being pulled beneath the far end of the bleachers. The design of the bleachers themselves had made it impossible for anyone to see beneath them unless they were to make their way through the labyrinth of poles that made up the structure itself.
"What the hell-" Cait went to speak before catching Hunter having been the one who had snatched her. "Are you satisfied now? Telling everyone everything about that day except my name!"
"I wouldn't."
"Why not? You already told them everything else! Half of the male team saw me enter that locker room...they will eventually put it together." As Cait spoke her fears of being uncovered, Hunter held his hand above her, holding onto a beam that made up part of the bleacher system.
"I know I'm a d**k, okay, but I wouldn't do that to you."
"Then what do you want? To torture me? To make snide remarks about how we made out and-" before she could finish this comment, Hunter pushed himself into her, pinning her against the bleacher wall.
"I want you to admit that you knew it was me." His hand fell on her waist as she could feel his touch lure her in as if it had been quicksand. The more she struggled to flee, the more she seemed to dig herself deeper.
"I went there to kiss Jack."
"He has never kissed you like that...he has never made you want to rip off your clothes off like that…"
"You can't say things like that!"
"Why not? Because they are true?"
"Because…" she struggled for a rebuttal as he was right. Of all of the things spoken since they met, it seemed as though Hunter spoke the truth that she had been afraid to. She hated it as he had the ability to make her weak. But when she looked into his doey eyes, their brown makeup having sucked her in and that sinister smile ceasing by the corner of his dimples, she felt lost to pull away.
"Just admit it...you knew it was me...and even now that you're pissed at me, you still want me to kiss you."
"You're incredibly full of yourself." She responded with a glare as he simply chuckled before scoffing in her direction.
"And yet my hands are still on you and you haven't tried to run." Having been reminded of this, she then forced his hands from her body before trying to leave, only to be pulled back in.
"What do you want?!" She asked him, now annoyed, as her pitch came out as if slightly in pain.
"A kiss."
"You are completely insane."
"If you mean what you say, that a kiss like that is meant for Jack, than kissing me, knowing it's me should be blase at best." He released her hand, giving her something to think about. "Just one." He furthered his theory before setting his hands up in surrender.
"If I prove your theory right, will you promise to leave me alone?"
"Cross my heart." Although he spoke this promise with arrogance, even taunting her by bringing his pointer finger over his heart, she believed that she would be able to focus on what she wanted, allowing herself to fully break free from Hunter. After all, it would be to prove to him that there was nothing but a misunderstanding. Cait paused for a moment in thinking of this interaction before looking around to see if there would be any witnesses. Luckily, nobody else spent time beneath the bleachers as it was deemed too dangerous and difficult to move around within. With this in mind, Cait moved on the tips of her toes before pressing her lips quickly against Hunter's.
For a moment, she believed she would be able to pull away easily with the goal of being with Jack present on her mind. But as Hunter brought his arm around her to pull her into him, she had become a goner. Every sense of rejection she held against him had fallen with her ability to remain chaste as she felt Hunter twist her towards the metal of the bleachers, pushing her against them, just as he had done in the locker room. Only now, both were well aware that this was what they had both seemingly wanted.
Cait brought her fingers to Hunter's hair, tangling her touch through his locks as he withdrew his tongue from his own mouth and began teasing her own. A slight moan left her lips as she could feel him harden against her with an erection that made her hungry for more. She could feel the practice he must have had with other girls as he knew exactly how to hold her, how to touch her, and how to caress her while delivering the perfect collection if aggressive kisses and those that had been tender. His touch even moved to her face, taking hold of her chin for a moment, before delivering a s****l kiss that he controlled from the get go.
Cait's fingers pulled upon the base of his shirt, exposing his abdomen to her before she used those same fingers to pull him closer towards her. Pulling her into him, Hunter basked in each second he could kiss her as he knew at any moment that she would make an excuse to pull away-blaming it on her morals. Because of this, Hunter pulled her further against him, pulling back to gain a breath, before then focusing upon her neck. Beginning at the base of his ear, his kiss then descended down her neck, slid along her clavicle, before then moving to her chest. Kissing the exposed portions of her breasts, he smirked against her incredibly soft skin before trailing his hand towards the base of her skirt. Tracing her skin beneath the fabric of that very skirt, he took his hand further and further up her skin, feeling the cotton makeup of her panties, before rounding his touch to her butt. Squeezing her quite affirmatively, she gasped, as his other hand moved to her breast, cupping her bosom and slowly pulling away her short to expose her laced white bra.
"You are so damn sexy…" he spoke against her neck before Cait heard the final buzzer of the game ring out. Her heart suddenly stopped as she thought that they could be uncovered in this very moment by any players passing by them. Fearful of this, Cait pulled herself back together while they both struggled to gain their normal breathing.
"This...this was a mistake…" she spoke quickly before running away from Hunter and returning to Diamond who looked to her with confusion. When Diamond saw her, her hair was disheveled, her clothes had been a bit stretched, and she was blushed-a clear sight of a make out aftermath. Knowing that it wasn't with Jack as he was on the field, Diamond assisted her friend before fixing her clothes and hair just as Jack came upon her. Kissing her cheek, he then pulled her towards his car before Cait watched as Hunter lingered on his motorcycle, looking to her with his helmet covering his expression. Just as she passed him, he rode into the night before leaving her with an overwhelming feeling of guilt and disappointment as she was left unsatisfied.
