Zeke Alec and I raced toward the border. We didn’t know what to expect, but one of the most heart-wrenching screams I had ever heard told me everything I needed to know. When we got to the border where we had built up a blockade, I saw Addy, Beau, and some strange woman with curly multicolored hair wailing. “GIO!” Addy screamed.
