Nat handed me off to a distraction that worked, but I wondered about the type of hangover Rian would leave me with come morning. A safer bet? I doubted it, but his intense eyes, full of wicked intent, held me ensnared.
He leaned down, and my breath caught, but he bypassed my lips for my ear, his hot breath swooning my knees. “I’ve been watching you all night,” he murmured, his lips teasing over my lobe.
I closed my eyes, my head tipping as his firm hold on my nape demanded I give him better access to my neck. I clutched at the sides of his tux coat. “Liar. If you had, I would have noticed since I’ve been watching you all night.”
