After the conversation with Arkyn near the stream, I felt at peace and glad I wasn’t as alone I had thought. When we returned, we placed the journal behind a safe in Arkyn’s office and decided when I was ready again, we would read more on my mother’s past. Arkyn had my door fixed, and for the past two months I have been waking up at the crack of dawn to train with Matt.
He was relentless to say the least. Then again I’ve never had to fight before in my life, so I was essentially a beginner in warrior training.
