I was torn between following her and reading her mother’s journal. Things were not making sense and it sounded worse than what I had imagined. But the pain she’s feeling, I need to take that away from her somehow.
“Dude why are you still here?” Colton questioned, breaking me out of my thoughts. “Huh” was all I could respond. “Arkyn, I know this is all new to the two of you, but instead of sitting here wondering what you should do, you should be following her and making her feel better.
