“Mics, I’m going to bring Miggy outside. We are buying snacks,” Diane said to Mickey soon as he and Miggy entered Charlene’s apartment.
Mickey looked at his son. “Do you want to go outside with aunty Yan?”
Miggy nodded. “Owtay,” he replied.
Diane smiled as Miggy ran towards her. “See you soon,” she said as she took Miggy.
“Okay, be safe. I’ll be with Charlene inside,” Mickey smiled, proceeding to enter the nursery to visit Charlene.
It had been five days since he and Miggy arrived. So far, they were coping with their jet lag, so they hadn’t done much but sleep to adjust their body clock. They stayed at Adeline’s guest room while waiting for the apartment next door to get cleaned and renovated before they moved.
