Chapter 3 surprise I'm pregnant

Cheyenne’s P.O.V

  I knew I had Mercury right where I wanted him and Anna had him wrapped around her finger, meaning that he would always do as we asked, which I was so thankful for. The knocking on the door pissed him off and I could feel how annoyed he was through the mate bond, but all it did was make me chuckle at how he was acting like a sulking child.

  “Great, who the hell can that be?” Mercury asked, walking over to the door as I got off his desk and fixed my skirt. Mercury looked back at me to make sure I was ready and decent before opening the door to see Trevor and Goldie standing on the other side. I turned back to face Cheyenne, adjusting the bulge that was now rubbing against my jeans and watched as she smirked at me. I shook my head as Goldie and Trevor walked into my office, closing the door behind them. They were both smiling brightly and Goldie looked like she was ready to burst at the seams.

  “We have something really important to tell you and we just found out this morning.” Goldie said, practically jumping up and down on the spot. She was so happy and excited that Trevor had to wrap his arm around her waist and pull her to him to stop her.

  “Okay, well what is it?” I asked, still annoyed at being disturbed from my time with Cheyenne.

  “We have come here to let you know that there is going to be a new addition to this pack soon because…..I’M PREGNANT.” Goldie said, squealing at the end. Cheyenne and I smiled widely and as Cheyenne quickly hugged Goldie, I hugged Trevor and patted his back, proud and happy for the both of them.

  “Congratulations. That's excellent news, I’m so happy for you.” I said, leaving Trevor to hug Goldie.

  “Congratulations. You're going to have a lot of work to do.” Cheyenne said, causing Trevor and I to look at her confused.

  “What do you mean?” I asked and Cheyenne rolled her eyes at me.

  “When you had the twins you were living in Trevors room in the pack house, which already has a nursery, but now because your family grew you have moved into a cabin, which does not have a nursery. So the work that you are going to do is to build a nursery into your cabin.” Cheyenne replied and she was right. After the twins were born we had to build them a cabin and with all the specifications that Goldie had, it took a lot longer than we had thought it would, so by the time that Goldie, Trevor and the twins moved in they were one year old and Goldie couldn't bear to be away from them, so they didn't have a nursery.

  “Yes, yes we do. I already have the blueprints and everything here.” Goldie said, suddenly pulling out some plans from her handbag. Trevor looked wide eyed as he saw the blueprints and it was obvious that he had no idea about this.

  “I’ll agree to whatever plans you want to do, just dont go over the top this time, like you did with the cabin.” I said, as Goldie’s eyes lit up.

  “I won't, I won't, I promise. Thank you so much.” Goldie replied as Trevor ran his hands through his hair.

  “Alright, good. We will be here tomorrow morning to start going over the plans, but for now just get your rest and start eating right because you're eating for two now, you and the baby, also tell Trevor what you have planned out because from the looks of it the only thing he knew about was the pregnancy.” I said and Goldie quickly turned around to face Trevor, smiling sheepishly at him. Trevor shook his head and laughed as he hugged her.

  “Did I hear right? Did you just say that you're pregnant, aunt Goldie?” Anna asked, walking into my office. I had officially decided that this girl was very good at eavesdropping.

  “I swear I’m going to get a revolving door for this office.” I said, huffing and making everyone laugh. Huh, they thought I was joking.

  Anna’s P.O.V

  I had been walking downstairs when I overheard Goldie telling my mom and dad the good news, so I just walked in and asked about it. Goldie nodded and I quickly hugged her.

  “Congratulations, I’m so happy for you both. I need to go study for my finals, which are in two days time and I need to ace them so I can graduate, but we will celebrate this properly afterwards, okay?” I quickly said and Goldie nodded. I hugged everyone and left, going straight to the library where William was waiting for me. He was so sweet and helpful, he had already got all the books I would need ready and set out on the table for me. I smiled and sat down next to him, kissing his cheek as I did so. I opened each book and read every single page, studying them from cover to cover and taking notes as I did so. By the time I had finished up it was four in the morning and William had fallen asleep, resting his head on the table. Thank the Moon Goddess that tomorrow is the weekend, I thought as I picked up all of the books and placed them back on the shelves. I looked at William who was sleeping peacefully and I hated to wake him up, but he would be more comfortable in our bed.

  “Come on, let's get to bed and get some sleep.” I said, gently shaking William until he woke up.

  “What time is it?” William asked, half asleep.

  “Four in the morning.” I replied and he nodded, getting up from his chair.

  “Well, at least we have the whole weekend together.” William said, yawning.

  “Yes, we do, but remember that I still need to study. I don't want to forget everything I just learned.” I replied, laughing and he nodded as he yawned again. We both left the library and walked upstairs to our room. We were both exhausted and all we wanted and needed was sleep. We both stripped off and I put on my night shorts and vest top, while William put on a pair of pyjama pants. William collapsed onto the bed and I pulled the blankets over him before getting into bed beside him. He pulled me into his chest and we both were out like a light.

  Unknown’s P.O.V

  At least I know where she lives now, I thought as I carefully and quietly watched her. I must have her to myself, she would make a great queen for us and people would bow in fear of her. She will rule the underworld, but I don't know how to get her just yet. There is no way I will be able to get close to her while she is on her father’s territory, so I will have to approach her at college. Maybe if I find out what she is studying then I’ll be able to get closer to her. I’ll figure out a way to do this, but until then I’ll just have one of my pets follow her in the shadows. Once I get her there will be no stopping me.
