“We’re leaving for school, mom!” Evan said as he headed to the door with his sister walking in front of him.
“Don’t forget your skirt, son!” Elizabeth said teasingly from the living room as she tapped away at her keyboard.
“Very funny mom…” Evan said as he chuckled. They headed into school and to their surprise the first thing they had that morning was a gathering of the student body. There was an announcement that had to be made.
“Any idea what they want to tell us?” Skyler asked as he put a hand over his girlfriend’s shoulders.
“How should I know?” Evelyn asked as she removed the other’s hand from around her.
