Archer sat with Lana in Xavier’s study, his hands clasped together pensively. Xavier looked at them from across his desk with crossed arms. “You can’t stop me from taking my Luna back to my pack with me,” Archer argued vehemently. Lana sat ringing her hands together as she sensed Xavier’s eyes on her. “She’s one of my best warriors. I can’t just let her go. We need to train someone to take her place first. And have you even asked her if she wants to go?” Xavier responded. “Of course she wants to go. She’s my mate! Who wouldn’t want to go with their mate? Especially if it entails becoming a Luna, a title that definitely outranks the status of warrior.” Archer pointed this out sounding a bit conceited as he did so. Xavier looked at Lana who seemed to look completely lost. “Lana?”
