As the days progressed, things seemed to get better between the two. It was like coming back home to an old friend, catching up and trying to pick up where you left off. It was fluid and natural to fall into an easy comradery. Xavier had even shown Rose pictures of their mating ceremony. Everyday, he told her small stories about their relationship. Sometimes, Xavier laid with her in their bed before Rose fell asleep. But he always left her at some point. He never stayed the night. Rose wished he would though.
