KAYLEE suddenly opened her eyes when she heard Grayson screamed her name while crying. She quickly stood up and looked at him, then look around, confused of the chaos around her. Everyone’s looking at Grayson, most of the bystander are taking a video of him. When she looked at him, he’s holding and embracing a woman near his chest.           “Grayson?”           She waits for him to response but he didn’t even look at her as if he didn’t hear her at all.           “Grayson! Who is this woman?! What happened to her?” she asked.           Kaylee tried to think hard. Trying to remember if Grayson said something if he will meet someone else other than her that night.           “God please, answer me Grayson! Can’t you hear me?!”           But still, no answer from him. Until she heard a man talking to a woman and both are bystanders.           “He’s the famous singer, right? Grayson Evans? Who is that woman? His girlfriend?”           “Maybe, I don’t know.”           Then, one of the bystanders sighed. “Poor girl, she’s beautiful. She’s too young to die,” he said.           “Die?” she repeated.           She was about to touch his shoulder but then paused immediately when she finally saw the face of the woman on his arms, with her face and body are covered with blood. Her eyes shut and looks like no longer breathing. Gasped in total shocked after she finally recognized the woman.           “T-that’s me. W-Wait, w-what’s happening?”           Is this really happening? Kaylee felt goosebumps. Her heart starts pounding so hard and her whole body is trembling. She closed her eyes for few seconds. This might be a dream. This is not true. Hoping that everything will be over when she opens her eyes. But Kaylee paused after hearing his sob again, begging her to come back to life.             “Kaylee… please… wake up… you can’t die like this, please…” she heard Grayson cried.           When she opened her eyes again. Tears run down her cheeks as she watches Grayson embracing her now lifeless body. Kaylee covered her mouth as she cries hard witnessing how her best friend slowly falling into the pit of sorrow and grief.           “This is not true,” she asked denying.           “What happened to me?” she asked in her mind.           That’s when a flash back run through her mind. After thinking for a while, she now remembers what happened. She was killed on a car accident right before she talks to Grayson.           On that moment, a medical rescue team arrived and quickly attend on her lifeless body. They put her on the stretcher and brought her inside the ambulance and immediately brought her to the nearest hospital. Kaylee followed them and went inside as well. She sat beside Grayson; who is now holding her hands so tight. His eyes can’t stop shedding tears, she can feel his pain, worry and fear are all over his face. The medical personnel quickly performed CPR on their way to the hospital, trying his best to save her life. He never stopped doing the CPR until they reached the hospital.           “Please doctor… save her!” Grayson begged.           The doctors did the CPR again, for about five to ten minutes more. But they can’t save her anymore. Until they announced the time of her death.                    “Time of death, eight-thirty-five PM,” the doctor said to the nurse, then look at Grayson. Kaylee felt her heart broke over again for Grayson as he approached the hospital bed as the doctor slowly covering her body with white blanket.           “I’m sorry, we tried our best but there’s nothing we can do anymore.”           “No…” he wept as he approached her body and embraced her tight.           Kaylee tried to hold him. But her hands just go through his body. He’s just beside her why does it feels like Grayson is very far from her?           “You can’t hold him anymore. You’re a spirit now.”           She immediately looks back and saw a man, wearing a white pants and long sleeve top but barefoot.           “Who are you?” she asked.           “I’m Uriel, an Angel of God.”           After he said that, a huge pair of wings appeared from his back.           “Is it my time to cross over the after life?”           He smiled and slightly shrugged his shoulders. “We’ll see.”           Kaylee sighed and look at her best friend again.           “Can I stay for a while? I just want to make sure he’s fine when I leave.”           “Kaylee, he will be fine. We have to go.”           She looked at Grayson again. “I’m sorry I wasn’t able to tell you the truth. Bye Grayson.”           With a heavy heart, Kaylee followed Uriel as he walked through the hallway from the Emergency Room. At the end of that hallway, the door suddenly opened on its own and a bright light came out. That must be the way to after life. Before she come inside the light. Kaylee heard Grayson’s voice echoing on that hallway, sobbing, praying and pleading to God. That was the first time she heard him pray.             “Lord… give me another chance… bring her back to me. Please…” he prayed.           Kaylee looked back. If there’s only a way for her to come back, she definitely will, even just for a while. Just enough time to tell him the truth and to tell him how much she loves him. If only she can turn back time.             AS THEY enter the bright light. They came to a place where Kaylee is walking on top of an endless sea of clouds.           “Is this the way to Heaven?” she asked Uriel.           “No,” he said with a smile.           “What is this place then?”           “There’s no exact name for this place. We are in between heaven and earth. But we bring here souls with special cases like you.”           She looked at the angel with wrinkled forehead. Quite confused with what she heard from him.           “Special case?” she repeated.           He nodded.           “What do you mean?”           “You know you have an unfinished business before you die, right?”           “Yes.”           Uriel sighed and stood beside her looking at the sea of clouds.           “To tell you honestly, Kaylee. You really are scheduled to die around ten in the evening of the same day. The truth that you want to tell him along with your confession are all plan to happen today. But someone intervened in the course of event in your life.”           “Wait, I didn’t get it… what do you mean?”           “For Grayson, you’re a very special woman in his life. Didn’t you heard him pray for the first time?”           She paused and smiled as she remembered. “Yeah, I heard him.”           “That prayer is so powerful. Your death led him to come to God and humble himself and pray. So, our Big Boss up there is giving another chance to finish your mission on earth.”           “What?!” she exclaimed.           “You will travel back in time, thirty-one days early before the day of the accident. On that given time, you should tell the truth to him and confess your true feelings for him.”           Kaylee felt the overwhelming joy with the thought of seeing Grayson again.             “But there’s a catch, Kaylee.”           Her smile immediately disappeared.           “What is it?”           “When you come back, Grayson will not remember you. First, you should do everything you can for him to bring back his memories about you. Second, you should confess your feelings to him without saying the words “I Love You”. And third, you should find out what’s your third mission.”           Kaylee frowned. “Wait… I thought I have only two missions!” she exclaimed.           “No, you don’t understand. The confession of your love to him and the confession of your sin is just your unfinished business that you have to fulfill. But the last three that I told you are your real missions. You have to accomplish them before the thirty-first.”           “If I can’t tell him that I love him, when is the right time?”           “On your thirty-first day, it’s the right day for you tell him.”           “But what if I accidentally told him that I love him before the last day?”           “Your thirty-one days will reduce. One I love you is equivalent to one day.”           Kaylee sighed harshly. “That’s unfair,” she said and crossed her arms on her chest.           “That’s the rule,” Uriel answered and shrugged his shoulder.           “What if I fail to fulfill my three missions?”           “You will vanish on earth and Grayson’s memories about you will disappear permanently as if you did not exist in his life.”           All her happiness and excitement of going back disappeared. Suddenly, fear and worry covered her heart. Will she make it? What if she failed? Kaylee didn’t want Grayson to forget about her.           “Are you worried?”           She chuckled. “I’m not even surprise that you knew how I’m feeling right now. You’re an angel.”           “If there’s one advice that I will tell you. Don’t stress yourself about your mission, you will do it, it will happen on the perfect time, as long as you’re aware about your limitations and your time. Make the most out of your thirty-one days, Kaylee. Be with your loved ones and make them happy for the last days of your life on earth. This is your last chance. Don’t worry, I will be there and guide you.”           She looked at Uriel and smiled. “Thank you.”           Uriel took a deep sigh. “So, are you ready to go back?”           “Yes. I’m ready.”           “In, three… two… one…” he counted then snapped his fingers.
