Marley's head swam. Her body trembled when his free hand began to move gently through her hair, taming it absentmindedly. She gulped when Aiden didn't make a move to retreat or get closer. He just stayed exactly where he was, inches away, his hand in her hair, blue eyes completely and utterly focused on her hazel ones. Marley wasn't sure how she hadn't embarrassed herself and kissed him silly. She wasn't sure how she hadn't said I love you. She wasn't sure how she still had a working heart. His blue eyes fell to her mouth when her lips parted, but they quickly darted back to her eyes.
