That is what he read from his notification window a few minutes ago.

‘Keep forging forward? Heh’ he laughs a bit when remembering the words that appears in the quest completion window.

The wolves could be put to use if he chooses the hunter life skills. he sighed a bit. He is feeling relieved and happy after surviving the ordeal also begins to think long term plan.

Maybe at that time, the character in the game is around fourteen or fifteen or age.

‘Maybe, like me tonight my character backstory is that he survives the night and instead of going down the mountain, he practices on top of the mountain for a few years’ he muttered to himself as he tries to organize the thing in his mind

That would seem a lot like a wuxia story, of training up in the mountain to seek revenge of something along that line.

Maybe there is a big story of why he is in the mountain and why he waited years before he came down the mountain.

Thinking about it again, Li Xian realized that in the cut scene of the game, it begins with his character chopping wood and killing a few wolves.

The reason he died is because his control was no good enough and he always were caught off guard.

Maybe it is because the character is actually powerful character in technique and skill but he as the player doesn’t know how to use it.

‘Does it mean I too have to stay in this forest for years before I come down the mountain?’ He thought to himself and then he shakes his head.

‘I have the system’ he said to himself

But then he frowned.

But the system doesn’t really give me any tips on how to proceed.

After I finish the wolf quest there doesn’t seem to be any quest for him to come down the mountain.

 If he come down the mountain will there be a quest for him? Or will it lead to his death?

‘I am getting to serious. Maybe, it is not that bad’ he decided to check the hunter life skill first. He taps the Hunter window on one of the list of Life Skill and a pop up window appears in front of his eyes.

The Hunter is a gathering life skill that allows the player to skin, disjoint and gut certain animals and collect their meat, skin, fur, or other body parts. To learn the skill, you have to purchase the Manual of Hunting, Tracking and Killing in the system store.

The price will depend on what other gathering skills the player has already learned. Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Hunting Novice and can perform hunting skills.

To use the life skill, the player must have a skinning knife. To raise the level of hunter rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up. To level up ranks by using Quest please notify the system. When one is hunting certain beast and manage to kill it or capture it, Life Skill point will be added.

The harder the beast to kill and the higher their danger level, the more life skill one would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in hunting such beast.

[TIP: Hunting the same beast over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded]

He nodded to himself.

If he had to say here, having the Woodcutter profession would also help, he thought to himself.

‘Hunter, first’ he said and he chose the Hunter Life Skill and then he bought the Manual of Hunting, Tracking and Killing and a skinning knife. All of it is twelve liang.

Learning it all in a second, he sighed. he then looks at his Life Skill points.

‘Need to find a way to farm the Life Skill point’ he said to himself.

He still has 6480 Life skill points.

‘I’m going to put it all here’ He directly ranks up his Hunter Life Skill to Journeyman rank using 6210 Life Skill points leaving him only 270 Life Skill points.

Even though he was ranked Novice the moment he chooses the Hunter Life Skill, he still had to pay the ten skill points.

The moment he ranks up the level of his Hunter Life Skill, his eyes shines for a second. Then he closes his eyes, concentrating his entire being.

In his mind right now it was like he is being given the knowledge of archery, knowledge of using dagger to skin beast, how to set up tracks, how to track animals and how to differentiate all kinds of animals in a second.

It almost felt like that from he was a child, he had roam across the forest and hunt all kinds of beast.

An experience of decades etched itself into his mind and his body. It is exactly like a baptism of knowledge.

Li Xian then opened his eyes and the he takes a deep breath.

The knowledge of being a hunter has successfully implanted into his mind He even felt his body also felt stronger.

This must be the effect of the supporting benefit of being a hunter.

A hunter after all have to had strong body, agile movement and powerful eyesight. It was like Li Xian body is remodeled in that moment, that enables him to hunt things easily.

His nose could differentiate the kinds of animal and his eyes and ears are sensitive to the movement around him

He felt a little cold and then he tried something. He walks out of the hut and with his skinning knife, slowly uses the skills he had learned to skin the wolves hide.
