I feel my body tense under Reid's arm and if he notices, he gives no sign of it. He just looks incredibly confused, motionless staring at her, as if he's trying to figure out if Katarina Volkov is real or not. Even I have to look at her again to make sure what my eyes are seeing is real.
Even though Reid and I talk about her and I know that Katarina is someone who is in his life on a constant basis because of their friendship and the help she has given him, I never thought I would see her with my own eyes. Or maybe I did, but not so soon.
